Cheerful Flowers Earrings and Fabric Journal

I love this fabric, so fun and beautiful! This is why I created a fabric journal and an earring set with them as well.

Fabric Journal Reloaded

I am working on a couple of new fabric journals as even though I know that modern tools are very helpful, but I trust that there are others in the world like me, who actually like to note down their thoughts into a notebook, to scribble down a good receipt quickly or to happen to design their very next crafting project.

I will get a few pictures of the new ones as they get finished, but in the meanwhile here is two of my fabric journals which I have taken some new pictures of. My lovely Canon 40D camera is still quite new for me and I still have to learn a lot but I already love the pictures that I am able to take with it very much.

One of them is this beige-vanilla journal with the rosebuds and lace, really womanlike piece, even a bride could take quick notes of her wedding ideas in it.

I know Christmas is still pretty far off, but to look at a Poinsettia is always very pleasant, and I especially liked this Scottish tartan fabric alongside it. :)

Quilting and Beads

I’ve been thinking about it for weeks before (or instead of) falling to sleep, I even saw its color in front of me. Then newer colors as well that could also make it work. Finally last week I bought the new pintuck foot for my Elna 7300 and began to actualize.

Even though the foot didn’t work out (or I am clumsy), I still didn’t give up and kept trying until I achieved the result that I wanted to.

And here comes my favorite part where I already embroider the beads. :)

The Three Graces

These notebooks are small, their sizes are only 6 1/4” x 4 3/8” (15,8 cm x 11,2 cm).

Any one of them is perfect to take it with you in your bag and write down all of your ideas and daily tasks or even recipes instantly as you get them. I always carry one with me for this purpose, but I also have one near the bed, as I often get my best ideas right after I wake up, so I can quickly note them down.

The thin batting makes the journal soft and pleasant to hold. The journal cover is separate from the notebook so once you have filled the pages you can replace the journal with a new one while keeping the cover.

I believe these notebook covers are looking neat on their own (I really like these fabrics with roses), but there is something more when you look at them together.

Just like the Three Graces.

Euro Week on Etsy

The Euro Week started on Etsy today, which is a great opportunity for Europe to really show itself in this international community.

There are many treasuries in the making that contain only European items and several European shops started to offer discounts in the form of free shipping or percent discounts on their items.

I am among the latter: you may find all of my items with 10% discount this week, you only have to enter the discount coupon code at the end of the purchase!

Let’s celebrate the Euro Week (from March 21 through March 27) together on Etsy!
