Ai Cat Twist

Today’s card uses the retired Art Impressions Cat Twist Set and Twist Frame Die. The old, patterned paper from my stash made the card front quick & easy.

The cat moves back and forth when the card is open, so you see both its front and back.

Enjoy your day! The smoke from the Canadian wildfires is lifting here. But we need rain!

Cutest Crew flip flap

Today I’m sharing a birthday card for a friend, inspired by Connie Stewart’s Trio Flip Flap Card. I switched it up a bit, using some really old but still fun SU! dsp called Spring Flowers. The stamps used are from SU! Cutest Crew.

There are 3 flaps inside. Two are seen when the card is first opened, and the third is revealed when you pull the card front a bit further.

This is a fun card fold for smaller images. Give it a try!

froggie friend

My sweet friend, Sharon, sent this cute frog stamp to me, along with several others. Here’s the thank you card that I made for her and below is the coordinating envelope that I sent it in. Unfortunately, after a month in the mail, it has not arrived yet but I’m still hoping it finds its way! I used the Art Impressions Frog Freebie and Ai 5797- Little Things Sentiment Set, along with the Creative Worship Stamps Cloudy Day Stencil.

I’ve blocked out the addresses in the photo of the envelope. Do you like to decorate your envelopes too?

Enjoy this beautiful day!

a little pup cake

I made another card for the current Unity sketch challenge. This time I used the sweet little dog from Pawty Law No. 1 set. My grandmother always made a pink frosting for her angel food cakes, so I colored the cake accordingly, with colorful sprinkles of course!

I paired it with some fun papers and pulled out my old Cuttlebug Graduation die for the confetti cuts.

just bee you

Today I’m sharing a card that I made for the current Unity Stamps sketch challenge. I used the cute bee from Unity’s Hip Hop Honeybee set. I also used the Hive & Honeycomb Stencil to fill the white space around him. The main image was cut with an MFT die.

This card is on its way to a local crafty friend who sells honey. 🙂 Have a great day!

valentine hats

I’m very late in sharing this photo…here’s some Valentine’s Day cards I made this year. I love the sweet animals from Anita Jeram’s stamp sets but sadly they are all now retired from Colorado Craft Company. These kitties are from Christmas Hats set.

I am going to still enjoy her artwork!

happy flappy birthday

Once upon a time, a few of my close stamping friends went to a convention and came home with the Happy Flappy Card Base Dies by Creek Bank Creations and I thought it was a fun card, so I purchased them too. You know how that goes! I used those dies to make this masculine birthday card. I also used the CBC Happy Mother’s Sentiment Stamps, MFT Celebrate Speech Bubble, Lawn Fawn- Push Here, and Creative Worship Stamps- Make A Wish.

With leftover pieces, I made another, simpler, masculine card…

Go check out Creek Bank Creations for other fun card ideas.

birthday blooms & more

I’m catching up with a few more photos and sharing some various birthday cards today that I’ve made this year. The first one was requested that I make for a friend to give to her sister. I believe I semi-cased another friend’s card here. The silver cardstock accents are so shiny and pretty irl.

My second card was die cut with the 2″ Circle Card Making Die and Bib Overlay dies by The Paper Cut. I fussy cut some extra flowers from the patterned paper and popped them up on the lower left and by the sentiment.

The next card is an alternate that I made with the SU! May 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit. I also used the Thoughtful Expressions dies and a sentiment from Shaded Summer. The velvet ribbon and pretty bird charm give it lots of texture and dimension. I scored the base for a gate fold card and added images to the inside to coordinate.

I used another Paper Pumpkin kit with some number dies and Creative Worship Stamps candles to make an 85th birthday card. The leaves on this card also have a lot of shine.

For my last birthday card, I used Spellbinders Club Blooms dies, Floral Fence of Togetherness embossing folder, and Sentimental Ampersand. I wanted the flowers to pop on a dark background, so I used a black base. Then I added some gold splatters and sparkly enamel dots.

We finally got some warm weather, and the temps went straight to 97! Stay cool!

Grace in every season

Hello! I’m sharing a card that I made for the current Unity Stamps color challenge. I was happy to ink up this swan image…it’s so pretty! Here I used Unity- The Gentle Goodbye. I also used MFT Stitched Scallop Edges and Stitched Mini Scallop Ovals.

The swan and flowers were stamped onto post-it notes and cut out for masking. I also punched a small circle to mask a moon before ink blending.

Have a nice evening!

Ai mini notebooks

Another post today… here I decorated a few mini composition notepads with some sweet Art Impressions Freebies. I used the 2022 Bear, Dog, Fox, and Raccoon. I also used 5797 Little Things Sentiment Set, 4967 WC Fence Dies, 4546 Bench Set (sentiment), and 5588 Journal Oval Frames (flowers).

A closer view…

These make great little gifts when you need just a little something. And they’re fun to make. 🙂
