For Someone Special

Hello friends,

Hope you are doing well! I am so excited to share a masculine card today after a few months not entering any challenges. I am still making cards that I sell on craft markets but did not always have the time to upload them on my blog. I hope I can make more time  to enter challenges for the rest of the year. For this card I just added a few layers of background paper and stickers, a bold sentiment as focal point and silhouette die cuts of a gentleman and dog. This card can be a birthday card or will also be good for father’s day.

I entered my card in the following challenges:

Hello dear friends,

Hope you are doing well! I am so excited to share a clean and simple card today after several months not entering any challenges. I really missed my crafting time and all my friends in cyber space. I hope I still have my craft mojo to continue creating cards and entering challenges for the rest of the year.

Let Your Dreams Set Sail

Hello friends,

A new challenge starts today at the Double D Challenge blog. Team Diane is hosting this challenge with the theme “Lighthouses”. The team have created beautiful cards to inspire you – a visit to the Double D Challenge blog will be worthwhile.

I decided to create a masculine card for this challenge. I added a die cut fishing net on the base card to create a textured background for the scene. I stamped the sailboat and sentiment on a black framed oval die cut and coloured the image with watercolour pencils. I layered the oval on the fishing net and a lighthouse die cut was added with mirror tape to give dimension to the card. I finished off with seagulls, a die cut anchor and sea shells. Hope you like my take on the challenge.

I also entered my card in the following challenges:

Autumn Time

Hello friends

I hope you are all doing well. Today’s post is about the new challenge at Double D Challenges with the theme “Leaves”. For more information about the challenge and the lovely prize visit the Double D Challenge blog. Looking forward to see your card!

I love to make cards with autumn colours – the browns, oranges, reds and yellows are so warm and earthy. I decided to create a shabby card with a rustic feel for this challenge. I painted a few scraps of papers with my watercolour paints and then die cut the leaves with different sized dies. I layered a scribble circle on a rustic designer paper background and then added the autumn leaves with mirror tape for dimension.  A few green sprigs are also added for more interest. I finished off with a gold die cut sentiment and a wax cord bow. Hope you like my take on the challenge.

I entered my card in the following challenges:

Little Treasures

Hello friends,

A new challenge starts today at the Double D Challenge blog. Team Darlene is hosting this challenge with the theme “Let’s Go to the Beach”. You can use the colours or anything DD_Beachyou see in the mood board as inspiration for your creation. The team have created beautiful cards to inspire you – a visit to the Double D Challenge blog will be worthwhile.

My card was inspired by the brown colours and sea shells in the inspiration photo. I decided to  create a masculine card with a stamped image which I coloured with my watercolour pencils.  I added a strip of netting on the base card for texture and then lifted the top layer from the base card with mirror tape for dimension.  I finished off by embellishing the water with a aqua shimmer pen, a few gemstones and a wax cord bow

I also entered my card in the following challenges:
