Fitness and AI adoption have more in common than you think: 🏋️ Form over weight: Rushing into AI tools without a strategy leads to injury (and wasted budgets). Form comes first. 🔄 Repetition builds strength: You don't get fit in one session; small, daily cross-functional AI uses compound over time. 👥 Spotters matter: Having a cross-functional team supporting your tech journey makes all the difference. Getting "fit for AI" isn't about working harder—it's about building sustainable, cross-functional habits across your organization. Join us with Les Mills New Zealand on September 3 for No Pain, All Gain: Getting Fit for AI to hear how leaders are training their teams for the future of tech. 📍 Level 2, 200 Victoria Street West, Auckland 🗓️ Thursday, 3 Sept | 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM 👉 Few slots remaining. Women only make up 20% of roles in STEM industries. We can change things; if we work together. We empower women in STEM.
About us
We aim to encourage women in computer science, computer engineering, IT, and tech-related fields to develop academically and professionally, to network and learn with each other and to foster the advancement of women in high-school, university and industry. Our mission is to bridge the gender gap. We do this by providing a platform for women in tech to network and develop vital skills that will advance them professionally. We also inspire young girls to pursue careers in tech by connecting them with female role models, engaging them in practical workshops, and challenging misconceptions about the industry.

Our AI Hackathon wrapped up this week, hosted at the AUT School of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences in collaboration with She Sharp , as part of the Aotearoa AI Hackathon Festival run by the AI Forum New Zealand. Special thanks to Fisher & Paykel Healthcare for getting behind it. Watching everyone take real problems and build working ideas in two days was a reminder of why we do this. So many of the people in the room were doing this for the very first time, and they threw themselves right in. To our mentors and judges: thank you. You gave two full days to sit alongside the teams, guide them, and judge with real care. That kind of generosity is what makes an event like this work. To the amazing She Sharp team and everyone at Auckland University of Technology who has been backing this for months: I’m proud of what you built together. Congratulations to our winner and our two runners-up. You earned every bit of it. I can’t wait to see what you do at the national judging, and I’m hoping to watch you take the stage at the Aotearoa AI Summit in September.
