As part of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club's visit to New Zealand, AIA NZ was proud to help bring football, wellbeing and community together through a range of unforgettable experiences.   Ahead of Spurs' historic match against Auckland FC at Eden Park, which attracted a record crowd of more than 40,000 fans, we partnered with Tottenham Hotspur's International Development Coaches to deliver football sessions through the AIA Healthiest Schools programme and an AIA Kids Coaching Clinic.   Across four Auckland schools, hundreds of students took part in skills sessions designed to inspire active and healthy lifestyles. The excitement continued at our Kids Coaching Clinic, where young football fans had the opportunity to learn from professional coaches and enjoy a surprise visit from members of the Spurs squad.   The weekend also included an Open Training Session, exclusive adviser experiences, a VIP Meet & Greet event, and plenty of fan engagement at our AIA activation throughout match day. From 10–16 August 2026, AIA NZ is proud to support Women’s Health Week – Te Wiki Hauora Wāhine, a nationwide initiative empowering wāhine across Aotearoa to prioritise their health and wellbeing. This week brings communities together to share knowledge, uplift one another and encourage informed, proactive health choices. It celebrates the wellbeing of all Kiwi women and gender-diverse individuals, offering accessible information on topics including cervical health, heavy periods, menopause, contraception, osteoporosis and maternal health. As part of our commitment to supporting women’s health, we’re also sharing our updated Menopause Support Toolkit for the first time – providing practical resources, guidance, and support to help individuals and workplaces better understand and navigate perimenopause and menopause. We're proud to share AIA NZ's 2025 Sustainability Report, showcasing the progress we've made as we continue embedding sustainability across our business and helping New Zealanders live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.  Some highlights from the past year include: - Completion of the transformed AIA House, reducing emissions by around 70% and our physical footprint by 41%.  - A 75% reduction in paper and postage through Project Forest and our ongoing digitisation journey.  - $790.3 million paid in claims, with 91% of claims accepted.  - Growth of AIA Vitality to more than 78,000 members.  - Release of our second Claims Compass, focused on mental health insights.  - Continued progress integrating ESG considerations across our investment approach. At AIA NZ, sustainability is about creating long-term value for our customers, people, communities and environment. Last week, it was our pleasure to welcome Hon. Simon Watts MP FCA, MP for North Shore, and media to Woolworths Takapuna to showcase our new AIA Vitality HealthyFood Benefit. The visit provided an opportunity to discuss the growing impact of nutrition-related health conditions in New Zealand and the important role that early intervention can play in improving long-term health outcomes. Together, we explored how healthier eating habits represent one of the most effective and accessible ways to improve population health, and why creating environments that make healthy choices easier, more affordable and more accessible is critical. AIA NZ’s partnership with Woolworths New Zealand and Everyday Rewards demonstrates how the private sector can work together at scale to support healthier behaviours, complementing the public health system and helping create future health system capacity. We were also proud to launch our new Empowering 5590+ Report, which explores the significant opportunity to improve health outcomes and wellbeing for New Zealanders through prevention and behaviour change.
