Yes it’s true, Dropbox now gives you double the referall space you used to get, it used to be 250MB before but it is now 500MB for reach referral, I first noticed this yesterday when a friend used my referral link and I suddenly had 12GB of space in my Dropbox. For me the service is a great tool, I used it to sync items between my computers and phones and can have access to them at anytime including from a web browser.
