Networking Services

Network suited for various workloads

Nobus understands the vital role played by networks in supporting various kind of workloads thus, we are keen to deliver the networking strenght required to run any workload in the cloud ensuring security, availability, manageability, performance, and wide coverage.

Benefits

Secure

Nobus networking services offers great security features in the form of data encryption, resources isolation, and private connections.

High network availability

Nobus provides a high network availability for your applications, web services, and ensures seamless migration

Wide coverage

Nobus network ensures extensive coverage over a private or public network for any application or workload of several storage options including Instance Storage, Flexible Block Store (FBS), and Flexible Object storage (FOS) are available.

Features:

Nobus Data Center as a Service (DaaS)

Nobus Daas is an on-demand configurable pool of shared computing resources allocated within the nobus cloud allowing you to provision a logically isolated section of the Nobus Cloud.

You have complete control over your virtual networking environment, including:

  1. selection of your own IP address range,
  2. creation of subnets, and
  3. configuration of route tables, interfaces, static routes, and network gateways.
See Datacenter as a Service Documentation for more information.

Cloud Router

Cloud Router enables you to dynamically exchange routes between your virtual cloud environment and peer network by using Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). See Cloud Router Documentation for more information.

Domains and DNS

Manage DNS for FCS Instance, Load Balancers, and non-Nobus resources all in the same place. See Domains and DNS documentation for more information.

Load Balancing

Load balance between applications by ensuring scalability, performance, and security. See Load Balancing Documentation for more information.

Virtual Private Network (VPN)

Securely gain entry to your networks and onsite IT infrastructure from any place. DaaS allows connection to public or private network infrastructure with an encrypted VPN (MPLS or Internet) connection. See Cloud VPN Documentation for more information.

Floating IPs

Nobus Floating IPs are publicly-accessible static IP address that you can assign to FCS Instance and instantly remap to other FCS Instance in the same datacenter. See Nobus Floating IPs for more information.

Security Groups

Security groups are sets of IP filter rules that are applied to an instance's networking. They are project specific and project members can edit the default rules for their group as well as add new rule sets. See Security Groups Rule and Reference for more information.

Firewalls

A firewall represents a logical firewall resource that a tenant can instantiate and manage. See Cloud Firewall Documentation for more information.

Trunks

The network trunk service allows multiple networks to be connected to an instance using a single virtual NIC (vNIC). Multiple networks can be presented to an instance by connecting it to a single port. See Cloud Trunk Documentation for more information.

Network Topology

Network topology center shows a topological graph about devices which connect to your specific network. Also, it will return availability information for each individual device within the network as well. One other thing to note is that it is the intention for OSC to collect data from existing REST APIs. See Network Topology Center Documentation for more information.

Nobus FastTransit

Nobus Fast Transit links your private network directly to a Nobus Fast Transit point. You can create interfaces directly to public Nobus services or to Nobus Data center and not needing to go through an internet service providers (ISP) in your network route. You can use a single public connection to gain entry into public Nobus services. See FastTransit Documentation for more information.
