Say hello to Inthujan and CapacityConnect 👋 Data centers are popping up at record pace, and nearly every one of them has power sitting idle. Inthujan, Martin and Kjell have put a number on it: 2 MNOK - that’s the monthly loss on 1 MW of spare capacity. Nobody has the time to go chase the last 6-7 percent, and it just sits there... So they pulled the plug on their 9-5 jobs, and built a marketplace. Data centers list spare capacity, buyers search it, and the contract gets signed on the platform. All three went through the same engineering program at NTNU and then scattered - data center operations, Siemens, energy and property. They expected the industry to fight them on opening up, and were positively surprised when it didn't. Now they have 19 data centers onboarded in two months, and the first transactions are in the pipeline! Hey ho - let’s go!

Say hello to our friends at VISOID 👊 Today they announced a 24 MNOK round led by Skyfall Ventures 🎉 We’ve known Mark and Joachim for a while now, and we're trying to keep up with the rest of the growing team - Malo, Kimberly, Farideh, +++ Mark is an ex-architect with years of taking projects from first sketch to construction-ready drawings, then product and commercial roles in tech. Joachim came in from the software side. In 2023 they started building Visoid - and it seems they’ve found a good place in the market! Visoid takes 3D models from architects and returns finished visualizations in minutes. Not a prompt, not a mood board - their model, their design intent, left intact. Used by architects in 120 countries, with five million visualizations and counting. Last week we hosted CEO Summer Lunch for our last two fund portfolios!☀️ A group of brilliant founders building in very different fields, but often facing similar challenges. That is exactly why we wanted to bring them together. Not for a big stage. Not for polished pitches. But for honest conversations, shared learnings, and peer-to-peer discussions between people who know what it feels like to carry the CEO role. A huge thank you to everyone who joined and contributed so openly around the tables, and to our very own Marie Mostad for opening up her home and garden for all of us. A special thanks to Aleksander Leonard Larsen, Bjorn Brandtzaeg, Christian Sæterhaug, Stefan Slemdal and Trond Riiber Knudsen for sharing perspectives, asking good questions and helping facilitate the discussions. We feel incredibly lucky to be on this journey with so many ambitious founders. Building a company is hard. Building it alongside people who want you to win makes it a little bit easier. 💪 ♥️

NORSTEC sin årlige sommerfest ble avlyst på grunn av bøtter med nedbør. Tre minutter etter avlysningen ble sendt ut ringte Daniel Cau Varming fra Space Lab og åpnet dørene på Startuplab. Space Lab spanderte pizza og drikke på alle, og det var alt som skulle til. Takk til Space Lab og Startuplab for at dere reddet kvelden, og til alle medlemmene våre som bidro til nok en fantastisk feiring av miljøet! 🚀
