The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has granted orphan drug designation to PACAB-002, NaDeNo’s investigational treatment for patients with ovarian cancer. PACAB-002 is designed to target peritoneal micrometastases that are difficult to eradicate with current standard-of-care treatment. This is an important challenge in ovarian cancer as intraperitoneal recurrence is a key driver of poor survival. In granting the designation, the EMA recognises the strong preclinical efficacy data of PACAB-002 and its potential to provide a clinically relevant benefit over existing treatment options in ovarian cancer.

NaDeNo at the #EICSummit 🇪🇺 Yrr and Erik travelled to Brussels this week for NaDeNo’s first EIC Summit, where the EIC community gathered. We met with partners, investors, pharma companies, and representatives from the EIC - European Innovation Council, who are supporting our journey as an EIC Accelerator beneficiary. 🚀 Thank you for many good conversations, we look forward to continuing the discussions.

Jens Bjørheim and Erik Møller Steen represented NaDeNo at the 1st European Ovarian Cancer Research Symposium at Solstrand, hosted by the Centre for Cancer Biomarkers CCBIO at the University of Bergen (UiB). The meeting brought together researchers, clinicians, and translational experts working on improving outcomes for patients with ovarian cancer. It was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen collaborations, and bridge academic research and drug development. 🔬 Congratulations to CCBIO on an excellent inaugural symposium, we look forward to seeing this become an important annual meeting place!

📈 NaDeNo Welcomes Tore Kvam as Chief Financial Officer We’re excited to welcome Tore Kvam to the NaDeNo team as Chief Financial Officer. Tore brings extensive experience as a CFO across technology-driven and life science companies, with a strong track record in financial management, strategy, and working closely with investors and owners to build and scale businesses. His background from companies such as Oncoinvent, combined with deep expertise in both finance and technology, will be highly valuable as we continue to grow. With an MBA from BI Norwegian Business School, an MSc in Computer Science from George Washington University, and certification as a European Financial Analyst, Tore combines analytical strength with strategic insight. We are excited to have Tore on board and look forward to the journey ahead together 🤝

He has worked with digital strategy, transformation, and project & portfolio management within global management consulting, and has hands-on experience with business development in the biotech space—identifying and developing partnerships, evaluating high-value applications, and supporting technology integration from early-stage evaluation to commercialization.
