Great to look back on The AI Meetup #2 in Utrecht last Friday. It was especially interesting to hear the talks by Onno Zoeter and Pini Reznik. Onno shared a strong perspective on how real-world machine learning problems often go far beyond classic supervised learning, especially when causality, control mechanisms, and changing systems come into play. A very relevant topic for anyone building AI in practice. Pini brought another valuable angle as a founder, adding to the conversation around how AI is being applied in real companies today. What I appreciated most about the evening was the mix of technical depth, practical application, and great conversations afterwards. Exactly the kind of energy that makes meetups worthwhile.
