The administration revived the dormant program in September, announcing then that households could order four free tests through a federal website, covidtests.gov. Beginning Monday, households may order an additional four tests — or eight tests if they had not ordered any in the previous round.

Dec. 11th, 2009 08:04 pmOn Thursday December 10th in the early hours of the morning a fire ravaged the home of Tyler residents Bryan and Tammy Miller and their six children.
We are thankful that all eight family members were able to escape unharmed, and deeply saddened at the loss of one of their dogs.
When the blaze finally ceased the house was completely destroyed and the family was left with nothing but the bed clothes they were wearing. News article
Please check back soon for clothing sizes, specific needs and Christmas Wishes as we update the site.
Bryan, Tammy, Khylie, Drew, Noah, Aspyn, Zayne and Olyvia are all ok, but have nothing after the blaze.
Please join with us to help this family re-build, and save their Christmas, just head over to any Southside Bank, or online using Paypal.

Jul. 5th, 2009 06:29 pm33: But... and there is a butt...
Jun. 29th, 2009 12:03 amSYTYCD: No favorites yet. Which is different than last time (couChelsiegh). They've (mostly) got personality, and performances have been good, but I can't really pick any winners. Bottom 3s for a week have been peggable, though. Heh.
Finding band names in random things: My random obsession this month.
Work is both the boon and bane of my sanity. Stupid failed scheduling.
I'm a little ambivalent to Jackson's death, and the reactions thereof. Mostly due to comparisons with a couple years ago, and what part of celebrities' lives people decide to focus on depending on the line of work they were in. But they've all done good. Even Mays. >_>
If I was feeling particularly morbid, I'd go compare the current count with 2008's trend. Feel free.
Weekend:
Was planning to get some work done this weekend, but fried brain was pretty much the norm when not actively in the process of frying body & brain. Ha.
7/4: Likely Ascension... unless there's some overly nifty firework-motivating party thing.
7/11: Chez Tuffy. Probably up until Tuesday. Potential passengerness: Carliness, Redness, Mirikness.
Crap. It's almost July already. I should start planning more vacations.
I will destroy you! /cheerful
Jun. 21st, 2009 08:21 pmMany body parts in many places.
Jun. 11th, 2009 12:25 amJoel&Ash's Going Away: Kinda awesome. Met and re-met lovely peeps. Saw a nifty autopsy tattoo. Also pink, furry, assless chaps. Also, a rodeo.
SYTYCD: I'll pretty much echo _j_'s ratings. The "bad' performances to me really seemed related to the choreography (and the jidges seemed to be very diplomatically saying as much at some points too, so ha). Also, way too much [bleep]ing yumminess. In food, drink, dance-watching, and company.
General: Been utterly drained the past week or so, and the fact that work is kicking it up a notch is not helping. Started dipping into the Mt. Dew for the level of caffiene/sugar needed to not nod off during meetings [and that only helps sometimes]. Apparently the half asleep has (mostly) helped my email writing skills, if not my organizational. Heh.
Keep managing to make it home, only to promptly conk out in bed for a few hours... get up, stay up for a bit, then get to bed... and still feel tired the next day... sleep most of the weekend. And no brainpower aside from what work forces out of me (which, at least, is working). Hrm... this is why I quit caffiene, actually. Feh, need to get back into a spot where I can do withdrawal again in relateive calm. Heh.
Guh, need to write for PVW. By like tomorrow. I am a mute, narcoleptic tag team champion. Actually, one is mostly mute, and the other's probably narcoleptic, so it might work out.
Also, laundry.
Random "WTF" mutual friend pairing from the Facebook friend finder: Kip (MUD) and Nay (Elementary). Wait, what?
Plans:
This weekend: Sabbat.
During the week: Way too many [bleep]ing downtimes.
Next weekend: Dominion. [Song's gonna be in my head all night now. I fully blame Robin.]
27th: Spending my birthday evening... harassing a Z. <3
Also: Still pondering Friday/Saturday-day birthday-type activities. Any ideas?
7/11: Off to Chez Tuffy for Mr. Devin's birthday. <3 Trying to figure out a) days off b) using said days off up there.
7/??: Harass cute girls from Idaho. At Disneyland. I win. [Damnit, forgot the day again.]
Crap. It's June already.
And no, jidges is not a typo.
Oh look -- more than a one-liner.
Jun. 6th, 2009 11:20 amOne of my observations a while ago was the realization that a majority of people I know, well, remind me of other people. The ones that don't (that is, the "originals") are the ones I tend to be drawn more to -- which happens less and less as time goes by. I've mostly gotten back to trying to ignore it, and find the nuances in new people, though again, harder with time, experience, and cynicism.
The thrown wrench, though, is having been utterly entranced with the uniquness of a person... and years later suddenly having the original, actual inspiration hit you in the face like a large, flailing tuna. It doesn't diminish the other memories... but it does mean adjusting my outlook. Which is a pain, really.
Trying out a few random new image editing tools, to try to get me caught up. Free, good features, good interface. Pick any two. *grumble*
Assuming I can confirm which theatre it is happening at, I'm off to see Up in 3D for Bethster Birthday shennanigans. Later: Going Away party for Joel & Ash... and trying to figure out if I can work Ascension in there.
