My Time to Craft Challenge #468 - Texture

A new challenge starts today over at My Time to Craft where
the theme this fortnight is 'Texture'

Sharing my design team card...

All the details of the challenge can be found HERE

I started by embossing the burgundy base card with the quilted
3D embossing folder which gives a gorgeous, deep embossed effect.

Next I die-cut the 'hello' three times with kraft card, glued them together
to give some depth, and glued it onto the card. I added a few pearlised
gems to finish.

The products I have used are:
Lisa Horton Crafts, 3D embossing folder - Padded Quilt
My Favourite Things - Hello There

Thank you for visiting my blog today.

This week's challenge at Less is More is 'Perfect Holiday'

I pierced the border of the rectangle card using one of the four stitched border dies from Lawn Fawn.

Lawn Fawn - Spring Showers and Stitched Borders
Spellbinders Nestabilities - Circles and Scalloped Circles
My Favourite Things/Die-Namics - Hello There

Hello Spring!

Today, I am sharing my latest card

As we are in the first week of Spring, I thought I would use some bright
Spring colours for my card today.

I started by embossing a 7"x5" card base.
Then using the largest of the Lawn Fawn - Stitched Scalloped Border Dies, I cut three
borders in yellow and green, and glued them together and added them to the bottom of a white embossed panel.
Next using the second largest of the Lawn Fawn - Stitched Scalloped Border Dies, I cut a yellow border and glued it to the top of the embossed panel.

Using orange card, I cut the word 'Hello' from the Avery Elle - Sentimental Die Set
and glued it to the central panel. Finally I added a couple of green sequins
and yellow enamel dots to finish.

The products I have used are:-

Creative Expressions Embossing Folder - Lace

Challenges entered:-
CAS on Sunday - Sentiment
Make My Monday - White Embossing
Ooh La La - Spring is in the Air
Fussy and Fancy - Springtime
Lemon Shortbread - Anything Goes

Hello Sunshine!

Today, I am sharing my latest design team card
made for the Dies R Us Inspirational Blog.

I started by embossing a 7"x 5" card base with a Darice Honeycomb Background embossing folder.

Next, using the Lawn Fawn - Spring Showers die set, I cut the clouds and sun in white card, colouring the sun and edging the clouds with Promakers.

I generated the word 'sunshine' on my computer, then I used the smallest die from the
Sue Wilson Designs - Frames and Tags - Pierced Flags, to cut the flag.

For the larger yellow one, I used the middle die and white card, which I coloured with a Promarker.

Next I die cut the 'hello' from the My Favourite Things, Die-Namics 'Hello There' die set.
I was lucky enough to win this set from a snippets challenge that Di runs over at
 Pixie's Crafty Workshop

Lastly I added silk flowers from my stash, sequins and diamante gems to decorate.

'Hello' Card

Here is a card I made a while back to cheer up a friend who was feeling a little under the weather. The idea came from a card Christine made over at Hope and Chances Creativity
I inked the edges of the floral paper and envelope, and added some pearls.

Items I have used are:-
Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page punch - Framed Dots,
Memory Box Poppy Stamp die - Wild Rosebud,
Spellbinders Mini Envelope 3 die, and Clearly Besotted Stamps 'Hello' die

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:-
613 Avenue - Anthing Goes or use Pink
AAA Cards - Word Play

Thanks for looking in.
