RETRO RUBBER CHALLENGE BLOG - TIC TAC TOE

 Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is a Tic Tac Toe Challenge. My tic tac toe is Ink Blend, Summer and Rub On. Be sure to stop over on the Retro Rubber Challenge blog to get more inspiration, the design team has some wonderful creations!

Here is my card for your inspiration.

I've created an A2 size card.  I created the layers for my card.  The top white panel, I ink blended with purple ink colors.  I then embossed the panel using Spellbinders 3D Embossing Folder Beautiful Butterflies.  I added the butterfly from Spellbinders sticker butterflies called Moonlight Butterflies.  Ok, you might says it's not a rub on, but it is a sticker.  The sentiment is from Newton's Nook Designs Monarchs stamp set that was released May 2022.

Retro Rubber Challenge Blog #134 - Flowers

Hello everyone!

I am here with Retro Rubber Challenge blog and we have a new challenge, which is Spring Flowers, you are to use at least one flower on your card. I love Spring time, it was a beautiful day here yesterday, but the temperature is suppose to drop the rest of the week.  I hope everyone is healthy and being safe.  

If you have never played along with Retro Rubber Challenge blog, you can create what ever you want, the only thing we ask is to use at least one stamp on your project older than a year.  You also must include the age (or approximate age) of the stamp in your blog post. I cannot wait to see your take on the challenge.

Here is my card for your inspiration. The stamp set is a Gina K. Designs called Sweet Friendship which was released January 2019.

My card is an A2 card, I masked off a circle and used my blender brushes to create the background.  I stamped the floral image with black ink.  I then stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Friendship stamp set.

Gina K. Designs - You are My Sunshine

It is Throwback Thursday for Gina K. Designs, I am sharing a card made with the Lovely Words stamp set that was released in January 2019.

Here is my card for your inspiration.  My card is an A2 card, the top layer measures 3 3/4 x 5 and the black layer is 3 7/8 x 5 1/8.  I masked off a section on the top panel and used the Life Changing Blending Brushes to add the ink, I then used the GKD Sunshine stencil over the blended ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely Words.

I’m here with Crackerbox & Suzy Stamps featuring one of the new rubber stamps from the new release called Cat with Birdhouse Large. 1. My card is an A2 card,

2. I masked off the card to have an oval shape and inked up the center,

3. I die cut the image and cut it out with my scan and cut and colored it with copics. I put foam dots on the image and popped it onto the card.

Joy Clair Stamps - Happy Holidays!

Happy Holiday's everyone!

I am here with Joy Clair Stamps sharing a card I created using the Joy Clair Stamps the trees and the sentiment came from the stamp set called "Merry Christmoose ", the birds are from the stamp set called "Noah's Ark". 

Here is my card and how I created it.

My card is an A2 card, I first masked off the moon and used distress inks on the background.   I stamped the trees and the sentiment with Versafine Clair Onyx Black.  After everything dried I sprayed the background with Sheer Shimmer Craft Spray Sparkle.

My card is an A2 clean and simple card, I cut my first layer at 4 x 5 1/4, I used a mask and inked the center of the layer.  I then stamped the Snowflake Large image on each corner of the masked area.  I then stamped the Snowflakes and Friendship.  I added some rhinestones and nuvo drops on the image and colored in the stars with a copic marker to finish off the card.

For my first post, I am sharing with you a beautiful card I made with the stamp called Goddess of Autumn and the sentiment is called Autumn Dancing.

My card is an A2 card, the black layer measures 4 x 5 1/2, the second layer is 3 7/8 x 5.  I created my card by first masking off the sun by cutting a circle from post it note masking tape.  I masked off the bottom to create the hill/grass, using distressed ink.  I also used distress inks to create the background.  I then stamped the tree from Crackerbox & Suzy Stamp called Tree Blowing Leaves and the Goddess of Autumn stamp.  I stamped the Goddess of Autumn stamp again and colored her with colored pencils.  I then fuzzy cut her out and paper pieced her to the card along with some of the leaves.

Hello everyone,

Here is my card.  This month theme for the design team is masking.  I will tell you how I created my card below.  

How I put my card together:

1.  A2 card 4 1/4 x 5 1/2,
2.  The black cardstock measures 4 x 5 1/4,
3.  The top piece of cardstock measures 3 7/8 x 5,
4.  I stamped the camouflage pieces on the background of my cardstock,

I stamped the boots and the tags using my Misti, I stamped the boots on some wide masking low tack tape I have and masked the boots I stamped on my cardstock, I then stamped the tags.  If you don't have low tack masking tape, you can also use post it notes, they work well too.

5.  I stamped the tags on the side of the boots to make it look like some of the tag is behind the boot.

6.  I removed the masked piece of paper and here is the results!

7.  Finished my card off by adding the sentiment.

a2z Scrapbooking - Hero Arts Butterfly Fancy Die - Hello Gorgeous

Hello everyone!

I am here with a2z Scrapbooking to share with you another card.  This month's challenge wis "Getting to Know You".  If you would like to join in on the fun, you can link your project up here.   All you have to do is use any Hero Arts product which should be your favorite Hero Art Stamp Set, Ink, etc since this is "getting to know you" challenge and tell us why. 

Here is my card, I really had a hard time figuring out what was my favorite stamp set from Hero Arts.  I have so many sets and could not just pick one.  I am using the Hero Arts Butterfly Fancy die and the sentiment is from the Hero Arts stamp set Hello Gorgeous.  Why did I pick these two, I wanted to use this butterfly die and I wanted to do something different.  I decide to use the die as a mask for the backgound of my card. 

Here is how I put it together:

I die cut the butterfly in 80 lbs white cardstock, I used the die cut butterfly and inked around it with Hero Arts Passion Flower.  I then used the butterfly that I used for masking and inked it up and used it for my card.  I die cut another butterfly from some solid cardstock and glued it on my card.  I added some adhesive in the middle of the butterfly and adhered it to my card. I added the sentiment with Hero Arts ink Grape Juice.  I used some Tsukineko Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Spritz to give the card some shimmer and added some Hero Art Crystal Gemstones in the middle of the butterfly.
