I had no idea what this movie was about and decided to watch it because of the ensemble cast. I was pleasantly surprised at the dark comedy (the first un-aliving caught me off guard). Definitely worth checking out. I had no idea it was rated R going in.

The 4-day holiday weekend gross is expected to be $100M and probably because true Marvel fans have been waiting for an “original” Marvel/Avengers character to have a movie. We’ve been getting not so good movies since Endgame. I don’t know when the franchise will get it back together…yet we will wait right. Once upon a time, I never rated a Marvel movie under 5 stars but now I do. I did view it in IMAX. There’s one end credit scene that’s not worth waiting for.

I have been patiently waiting for the sequel to this franchise as the first film is absolutely great and I’ve seen it a few times; It was screen savvy with all the twists. I absolutely disliked this long-awaited sequel!!! Not connecting the remaining characters from the original film (except the two major) was a big mistake! The accents were way too hard to connect to and subtitles are okay but too many for a film like this one. Fans of the original film will be disappointed.

Based on a true story. I wasn’t familiar with this story since I’m in Metro Detroit and Claressa is from Flint. There are definitely emotional moments. Worth checking out.
