Well, Doggone! for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez

I'm posting today for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez.  She has more than just kinda cute digis. They are darling.  You'll see what I mean in a second!

For today's card, I used both a digital image and digital papers created by Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez. 

This is Girl Running with Dog:

I colored Girl Running with Dog with Copic markers.  The designer papers are called "Red & Blue Basic" digital paper.  There are 12 different papers in the set, and they are all fantastic! I've used 3 of them here. 

I used the current sketch at The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  Here's the sketch: 

I added a couple of die cuts that I cut out from a Cheery Lynn set.  The sentiment is computer generated.  The border is a die from Diamond Press. The image is cut out with a Spellbinders die.

Edward Birthday Wishes -- for Bugaboo Stamps

It's Thursday, and it's Oldie but Goodie day on the Bugaboo Stamps, Catch the Bug Blog.  I have 2 good friends with birthdays this upcoming week, so I made this card for one of them:

This uses Edward Elephant - Happy Birthday, colored with Copics, then cut with a circle die.

Another Christmas card?  Yes!  I love having yet another card made and ready for the 2018 season!  This one is a bit different style for me as I used a die for the focal point instead of coloring up an image.  It was fun to challenge myself a bit!

As you can see, other than turning the sketch 90 degrees, I followed it very closely.

The "Believe" die is from Cottage Cutz, and I think it is perfect for my dog loving friends.  I may have to create more like this before the season hits!  I used washi tape to make the horizontal accents, and the star brad is from Hot Off the Press.

Yappy Birthday!

I'm invited to a surprise birthday party for an 80 year old friend today, and she's a big dog lover, so I need some sort of dog-related card for her.  I think I came up with a good one!

I used this month's progressive freebie image from the Dragon's Lair Designs on this, and colored it with Copic markers.  

The card is based on this week's sketch from The Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge.  Here's the sketch I used:

Birthday Dragons Coming Your Way -- Outlawz Wednesday Sketch Challenge

It was a rainy Thursday, so after meeting a friend at the local coffee shop this morning, I came home and got creating.  I used this month's progressive freebie at The Dragon's Lair, and combined it with this Wednesday's Sketch challenge at The Outlawz.  Here's what I came up with:

I colored up the dragons with Copic markers, then fussy cut them.  Papers on this card are from We Are 3 Digital Shop.  They are the Nature Blends digital papers.

As you can see, I followed it pretty closely.

The large heart die is from Spellbinders.  The small heart die, across the top is from a company that no longer exists -- Top Dog Dies.   The Happy Birthday sentiment is a sticker from Hot Off the Press.

You're Tweet

Happy Flag Day!  I was at the nursing home this afternoon to play piano and help with the Flag Day program.  The flag and what it stands for means so much to our older generation.  I hope that kind of patriotism doesn't die out when they do!

I colored up this image yesterday and made it into a card this morning in-between commitments. It's the freebie this month of June at the Outlawz Progressive Freebie.  It's by We Are 3 Digital Shop.  

I colored this Tweet bird with Faber Castell colored pencils.  It took a lot of coloring to get this image colored.  My hand was cramping up!   I used a sketch from the Outlawz Wednesday sketch to help me design the card.

Turtle-y Awesome -- Sasayaki Glitter Progressive Challenge

It's Thursday, and the weather here in NW Wisconsin has been turtle-y awesome this week!  It's also turtle nesting season, so my dog, Gracie, and I are helping the turtles safely across our road whenever we see them.  Slow down, cars!  Let me cross!

Speaking of turtles, this month's progressive challenge in the Sasayaki Glitter Facebook Group has a turtle-y awesome celebration image.  The image is a new release this month called Birthday Turtle.
