Spring is here
Monday, 24 March 2014 12:55So I went and decorated my free library with a flower pot. Using pre-used materials again, of course.
I used a small tea pot from the 1930s or so that I got free at the charity store because it was broken in several ways. It looks nice though, hanging from what used to be a fork.
I've also installed a hook that people can leave bags of books on, if they wish.
Yes, this is a spinoff from the cutlery project I did last year, which also resulted in this collection on Instructables (but no Instructable of my own so far).
Forks are great to work with. You can make pretty much anything from a fork. Knives, now there's a challenge!
More good news regarding the bookshelf: a new Bookcrossing member! in my town! released a book! on my bookshelf!
(This news is so good that it needs four exclamation points.) Here's the book. Hurray, my bookshelf is working!
