omgz i pray daily for a new mining game like this to come out. I hate permadeath so thanks for feeling that out lol. You sold me the second I saw this. I'll let you know if I find anything to yell at you about, as I am a high maintenance girl when it comes to my pixel art/2d games. terrible game. A child could have made the movement work. You coudl not. Character cant walk with any buttons. The mouse actually has to be slid UP only to move the camera to look up...otherwise the character is always looking down. So, yea you have to keep sliding the mouse up, then hitting the esc button over and over to use the cursor if you want to get the UI to work. Press E to get tree? Why not use the axe or tools. Also you die from hunger right away cause the dev doesnt know balance, and when you die, you are at 0 hunger still and so there is no way to load a save or you are dead with no food. Game is a total joke.
please fix your game the controls dont work, and the character moves but never turns the right way and he just kind of walks on his own. There needs to be auto target and auto aim option please, to make this game playable....if you intend on keeping the non working controls. The gamepad works but its like the character and entire game, totally ignores all movement and actions I try to complete. Again, even on the keyboard, it does the same things. You move the character and try to turn him the right way, in order to be facing the enemies, so we can target them, and line up an attack. But when you try to do so, the character walks the wrong way, spins around and around when you try to use the kb or gamepad. You also get stuck behind things, even though you have space to go past it. Its very flawed, so I think it is imperative for the dev to fix the movement mechanics, add auto aim and auto attack, and make a zoom option . The screen is so big and scrolled in, it's hard to play as you cant get birds eye view of everything that is happening.

im a bit upset how do i contact you. I supported you and followed and spent money on this game expecting it to be updated or something due to the fact it was paid for by me..at a non prototype price. So...what is this other game that you said this game is now being changed to? On this page it says that there was an update 53 days ago. But the download at to the top for the game I bought...says it was over a year ago. This to me is a red flag, false advertisement and dishonest. So I dont think you are doing this on purpose but something happened to put you in a light right now that you dont want to be apart of I hope. Can you please provide me with some sort of a link or download to the newer version of this game...based on the update info given here on this page? Or the link to the game that its on your other page that this page states CLEARLY: this game evolved into the other game. You do realize that people who bought this game, feel like this game was abandoned now? And some even just bought it recently. I actually wanted to support you so I paid over the asking price for this game. There are also bugs in this game that are strange that have to do with the crypt building or whatever that have you get stuck or things dont work right. I feel tricked a little lol. And this game is still being sold as is...despite it saying that the other game is the newer evolved version. That right there...is a reason for some people to go to itch and complain that you are violating one of their rules. You cant take money for a game when a newer version is on another page, that you have worked on in place of this, and saying updates have happened. When none of that is true. Its like going to the store and buying a pair of shoes, and coming back the next day and they have the exact same pair that was worked on and are better but you cant buy the updated version even though the other pair you bought is advertised as the newer version. Its fraud. I want to settle this with you, and I prefer to not get overly upset and emotional....Im 7 months pregnant so little things like this unfortunately....make me cry and freak out haha.

The game becomes unplayable on browser due to the screen not being able to be moved around at all to view the whole upgrade tree..it wont even scroll in or out. You need to do a regular windows download or Steam download..once again. There are a few mechanics issues that other developers, making games like this, usually avoid by doing a few things. For one, the human brain doesnt work fast enough once you have another party member in and the resources go all over the screen. Coins, wood, attacks flying...all that, made me have to shut the game down because I have epilepsy, and wanted to avoid a seizure. I am begging you to show that you respect disabilities and make all auto an option. Auto aim, auto attack, and auto collect items. Just so people like me can love this game even more. You have a huge talent.
Even for normal brains....it's just is not possible to focus. You cant collect everything or even a few things on the screen after you beat the first boss and get a new hero. I have upgraded the magnet etc and still not better. What you needed to do was to do what is standard in this genre. Auto aim and auto attack for all heroes...either make it an option or static in the game....and all the resources need to be put in inventory right away. If there is auto attack and auto aim for all characters....as an option on the skill tree....then its not showing up soon enough.....for how chaotic this game is. Usually see all the auto aim and auto attack or auto gather items type stuff.....early in the skill trees of other games in this genre. You have to remember that you as the dev know how to play this game. So when a player loves this genre, and is familiar with how this type of game works....its a huge let down to discover the developer has chosen to ignore some of the most basic and standard elements in an incremental game, that are loved by players. This random shooting all over the screen, cant be happening like a tower defense.....due to how much there is to do manually. You cant combine so much so fast you know. Please allow us to put it all on auto attack and auto aim, as well as auto collect if we choose. I was so stressed I felt like I was gonna cry lol. I do have to say...that this is one of the best games I have ever played...and I had to stop playing after I got the carpenter and all the random stuff started happening that made no sense. But yea, many people with brain disorders like mine, would appreciate the options menu changes I mentioned, regarding auto attack, auto aim and auto collect all resources. I hope this doesnt come out sounding rude or upsets you. I get a lot of really emotional developers who act like babies with posts like mine. But if you could hear my voice tone....I promise you it would come across as totally bubbly and loving. Thats just how I am. I never meet a stranger basically, I am the first one to be a friend, and jump head first into helping. So maybe we can collaborate together huh? :D

Also there is a huge problem with how you keep giving us links or whatever for the updates. LOL I was making my dog hide from me, my screams of NOOO, were so loud. The link above and others, they dont work Sir Dev. I even shut down all my firewalls and blockers..made my pc a hackers dream...wide open to all. It allowed everything with the unzip and let me get to setup. But then it gave me the hour glass like a game does before it sets up or launches, and did nothing when I clicked the setup.exe. It should have popped up right away. You need to just let us download it from here please like others do. Browser is an issue also. If you right click to move the screen around for the skills, it brings up the browser menu...on any browser I played on btw. Im almost in tears from frustration Mr. Developer. You dont wanna make a girl cry do you? Please upload a download for windows the normal way or put a download on Steam.
OMFG OK WOW. So apparently after you beat day 4, the game freezes and you have to reload. When you come back after the day 4 game freeze, day 5 is there but all my buildings and resources that were there adjacent to them...for bonuses...CHANGED. So now I have no rocks, trees, water etc next to any buildings! Then I was like, ok well my progress with everything else saved, they just dont have the placement bonuses. So I continued and beat day 5. Guess what...game freezes and you have to reload to start day 6. And so on. Every day beat freezes your game and rearranges all the resources. The developer didnt remove the procedural generation of placement of resources between reloading the game...to save our progress. If I close the game, reload, or continue, my buildings are in their same spot but they have been whisked away to a new land and all the lakes, trees, rocks, etc...are in a different place. Please allow a download, and a real save....AFTER YOU FIX THESE BUGS. Another thing that makes this game not playable...you need to let us set up our formation and gear before a fight begins. Thats ridiculous to not allow us to place anything or fix our formation. I recruited and the last fight began? Also..no one will play if you do not auto remove the gear from a hero and put it back into our inventory when they die. Thats just insane also. I lose so much just trying to have fun in this game. Please fix the formation and set up and let us start the fight manually...and do not take our items and gear etc if a hero dies. There is no reason why I spent 3 hours lvling a ranger and he was one shot...but the healer wasnt? My God.
Ok so the exp potion button became clickable with no explanation. So can the dev please explain how and when...and the math...of the exp potions system? How it works and why we cant get a star lvl or full lvl with just one potion. We get so few potions due to the ridiculously short 15 actions rule...that lvling up happens rarely. There is never enough and the player is at an unfair advantage. Also, there is a bug that froze my game 3 times now after day 4 was beat.
The exp potion green up arrow is always blacked out when i click on a hero....until it randomly pops up bright green for no reason. Why cant i press the button to lvl up whenever I want? Why cant it be one potion per a lvl or star lvl? I mean since you get so little amount of the exp potions, between the 15 actions. The game feels almost unplayable without being able to lvl up at a fair and nice pace. The fact we cant unlock better heroes either is frustrating. The heroic option is grey. I feel the enemies attack too hard, and the gains on everything are too small. All of that I just mentioned could be remedied if you extended the number of actions till attack to 30 or so. The other option is to first raise the gains on loot/resources significantly, and then lower the damage done by enemies significantly. That is if you choose to not extend the actions till the attack. I havent lvld up a star on a hero once, due to the poor balancing issues. You need to do a download also please because in any browser...sometimes you accidentally right click and it opens the browser menu. And it wont run as buggy in a download like it does here. There is a bug that froze my game 3 times now after day 4 was beat.
this would be fine if I didnt have 100 youtube and twitch viewers telling me during live gameplay that the developer is ignoring the fact they dont want to play cause he wont fix the multiple clicking issues. One click to harvest, and choose pawn, right click to deselect should suffice. You need to listen, because your game is perching right now on greatness if you do what I am saying. Im trying to help the developer, whoever he or she is. Im trying so hard to get this game out there, and it feels like im yelling into a void. Why is it that not only myself, but others, seem to care more about your game than you do? Based on your responses that arent kind and agreeing to do what will rocket this game to fame and success? Its amazing to me that people like myself believe in you and your amazing game so much and have put in (I call it strangers working for a cause) hours of work to get the player base who LOVE THIS TYPE OF GENRE, to notice your game. The main goal being...we want Indie Devs to make the money. The equivalent of the ma and pop stores, instead of the big retail chains you know lol? These huge publishers and game companies ruling everything and charging 50 60 and 70 bucks per a game that is crap most of the time. They need to be hammered down at times. You are the future my friend. But I dont want to see you as the lesser of two evils. I want to see you as a willing creator who will listen to what we are doing to help you and agree to collaborate with just a few things. Like right now, one thing. The clicking and selection issues that are repetitive, or need extra steps. How clicking on a pawn needs to be done over and over and wont keep them selected permanently. There needs to be a left click on pawn, that pawn is chosen and wont be unchosen till right click is used. That means, you need to make right click ONLY FOR deselect or to be used in the menu. Left clicking the pawn, targeted pawn, then left clicking anything else will move that pawn there or select something to harvest or pick up. No other actions should be needed to be done at that point. The harvested or picked up items, or...items left clicked on, should be sent to inventory or bag immediately. Simple. If we want to go to another pawn, we then should be able to go to a menu or page with choices to click one, or right clicking action will deselect the current pawn being used for actions. See how easy that is? This will get you money in your pocket at some point. I think you can sell this game for a good price honestly. Its just so frustrating when people working in the career field I do....see a developer with a purely genius game....refuse to do simple things. Please work with the advice
your game needs to be made simpler, as far as all the nonsense with clicking and right clicking crap over and over. Why not do what other games of this kind have done? The thing that actually makes a game successful, and feels comfortable and familiar to players? Games like yours that try to do multiple actions during gathering or harvesting, always fail because players dont want to be stressed. (click pawn, make sure its focused on pawn, right click item, choose cut, choose pawn again, pick up.) Common sense would lead even the most brainless developer to look at past games that are historically evidence based, successful. You can take one little example from all those only, and that alone would work to your advantage. The clicking once feature. Click the pawn you want, it stays targeted till you right click to deselect, then click on something you want to harvest. Click again to pick up....auto whoosh to bag. Why have you not done this? I seriously suggest you do this because I like this game and thought that you deserve some help getting it out there. I streamed it via my Youtube and Twitch channels, viewers loved the gameplay core, and the graphics. As I played, the feedback and comments received were not were not centered around the bugs, and weird clipping through walls etc...it was why I kept having to click on things over and over and making choices to do simple actions. Based on this, please please try the click once, hold the pawn target mechanics.
too hard...you gotta give us a weapon that hook is annoying it keeps going out when we need to fight. the game doesnt let us set the damage and resources amount either to make your game balanced. Death comes every second because there is no way to kill the enemies that come non stop. It will show a sword type attack thing while the hook is flying around..nothing works right. Cant fight, and the hook is slow. Just make it like other devs have made owsc games. Simple controls you know. Fix it.
Please leave the permadeath feature in Ogre Dungeon optional via a menu choice. The check point thing I am still confused over and the save system, but it appears that when death happens all is wiped. The gold stays but nothing else, and I havent found a way to load the game from last check point after death. Can you please please add a mode or option that allows you to choose no permadeath and to load a save from your journal. I think this would also boost your sales greatly on Steam, because players want to have some control over their game if they so choose. The choice to restart from a checkpoint or load a save would make me a grateful woman. . A lot of people are coming back to this genre again, like in the old days when games like this were popular. Its a classic traditional roguelike, it is timeless. It is also the type of genre I stream on my Youtube and Twitch channels, to help Indie Devs promote their games. Roguelikes, Traditional Roguelikes, and bullet hell games come out of the wood work now, but many are just done by lazy developers. I only promote and stream games by Indie Devs, who show great care and respect for their work and their paying players. Devs who update their games regularly, communicate regularly with the players/community, and who show a willingness to make changes/fixes to their game based around community suggestions. This is what you seem to be doing, so I will continue to do play throughs of this game on my channels in hopes of getting you the traffic you need to make sales. Your talent is impressive and everyone should be buying this game and giving it a try. I posted this also in your Steam forum discussions page, in case you missed this. But yea, the option to play stress free would be huge for many players, I got a lot of comments about it when streaming Ogre Dungeon. "Wait is there an option somewhere to load a save!!!??." That was one of the main questions I got from viewers. One suggested you put it in during character creation stage or in the menu. Like a toggle or check box option? I think the need for this stems around the amount of time some of us play on one character and the hard work put in. Just to die and keep no progress but gold. I would also highly suggest a meta upgrade system that has an expansive tree of skills, stats, and progress to be saved between runs.
ok im blind i cant see the dl files button. The grey text still hides into the black. Like our names next to our avatar picture....they are dark and so they melt with the black page color. But my point was that I dont see the "download files button" on here. Also how do you craft, and why cant i rebind the keys on my keyboard (please put in gamepad support later :) ) I went into the controls menu and was like clicking them all insane haha. This should be on Steam asap so everyone can see how talented you are.
I need help because the game is impossible. I added some people to friends from Steam to ask for help who put up screenshots of stuff I dont even see in this game. I asked Steam support what was going on and Itch.io...as the screenshots are again...different. Showing towns and much more content than the hours I spent getting killed looking for 4 gems with no tutorial. I paid for this game and now I am upset because Steam is saying I may have been scammed. The red flag comes when you are in a loop stuck in a game by a troll dev who has no intention of allowing someone who pays them to access the areas shown in the screenshots. The game was represented as a full long rpg with tons of content, dungeons, towns, gear, and the abilities to interact with items and craft. I cant interact with a single thing in the forest but the stones. I killed thousands of orcs got one stone. So I am working with Steam to take down whoever did this to me...I am angry. The other options is for me to hear from the dev and get a full copy of the real game or tell me he will fix things. I need to know why all things have vanished from the game like a full menu, the links to discord, all the screenshots shown are nothing like what I bought. Your picture here...shows berries. I cant collect berries. Fix this or I will spend the rest of my life getting revenge for being scammed online. Yes its my first time....and I dont like it. I feel a little crazy right now Im sorry. Spent hours in a forest with unbalanced enemies coming at me. No one needs an online stalker....but here I am mad that I cant access what I paid for. Hello to the developer. So man, if you are new at this dev thing, i am sorry to sound rude lol. But this game has to be sped up in order to make it. Even if its not on Steam or doesnt go anywhere, eventually players are going to be tired of the pace. Please can we have a way to speed up that fight DRASTICALLY when you explore. In fact all actions should be sped up. The fact the fight has multiple targets that take such low damage and yet they have so many hp is like pulling teeth. I streamed your game here via my Twitch and Youtube channels and there was a hugely positive reception until the fight went on too long. I think your game is unique and will go very far if you do what I said above. I am going to continue to promote your game on my own because I think you should be able to sell this game and reap the rewards of your work. But in the meantime try to keep doing updates and fixes to make the gameplay more enjoyable. If you are a newish developer...then way to go on getting this far and all the amazing ideas you put into this. If you arent a new developer, then you have something truly genius rolling around in your head. You have made this doubtful girl, a true fan!

no no my friend, i want to pay for it the full game I mean. But there also is no tutorial for this game. I keep clicking and dragging and nothing merges. Its incredibly slow game and you have to have the patience of a saint to play it.....and I do....so that is fine with me. I just really would like the villagers to walk faster is all lol. The bugs I think that exist are that the game does not respond to clicking hardly ever. Especially when dragging and merging. I think i am either not doing something right because there is no guide or full tutorial....or because there are bugs. I just want to be sure if I buy it that all the kinks are out with that aspect. On that note, does the full version come with a tutorial? Or maybe you can just tell us in a new post, how to play and do something as fabulous as you did before. You know with the coding explanation for the custom settings for players lol. I have a lot of patience yes, but only when I know what I am doing and something works. Also, is there a way to make the land the little villagers live on bigger.....or is the black around the borders just like dead space haha.

I also saw the other game you were working on, Dungeon Reborn. You posted it was free, its nowhere to be found for some reason. It said published last July '25, but then says updated 3 months ago, which is something that happens frequently on this website. Lol, that is because Itch will say a dev has a new update on a game, take a player to the download page to download it, but then the version number shown and date on the download is from ages ago. It never reflects the updated date on the dev's page, under "more info". But yea, there is no demo, browser version, or pc download on the page for Dungeon Reborn. So was wondering when it was last updated, if you are still working on it (if indeed you updated it 3 months ago), and if I can please play it somehow. I never got a chance to try it as I just found your page and am a huge fan already. How do I get in contact with you, maybe Discord or something? Steam page? Not only is this game absolutely adorable but it is pure genius. Id pay 20 bucks for it on Steam btw. Please please continue to develop it. Im trying to figure out how to get stone because im on easy mode and its so far, yet there is no way to upgrade anything without stone to get past the mobs. Is there a way to set my spawn point again somewhere so I can run, die, run, die, etc lol.
yes but what we are saying, is that we want bonuses for the achievements that feel good and are useable. Like rn the achievements or relics even that are given are either non existent or give so little. The achievements give nothing, and the relics take a ton of work to get all the parts, then the reward for each when completed is so small it doesnt do much for our build. Thats what we mean.
