Papercrafted Valentine's Day Mailbox

Embossing Folders and Diffusers 101 (Video)

One thing I love about papercrafting are the fun tools that can be used to add that special twist to your artwork.  I have used the Circle Diffuser once, and loved it, but completely became re-inspired watching this video and learned a few tips for using them.  Press play and be prepared to add these products to your next order!

Fall in Love with our Washi Tape Dispenser

When this dispenser showed up in our newest idea book, Annual Inspirations, I thought, "Okay...that's nice..."  But you know what pushed me over to buy one?  It looked CUTE!  If you know me well, sometimes it doesn't matter the purpose as long as it's cute.  LOL  Well...now I love the purpose - and it's still cute!  They really are completely functional and I love being able to cut off the amount of washi tape I need using this fun tool.

WOW!  How did you like that?!  So many possibilities and so many fun products to create with!

I  have these product items in my possession and have seen some wonderful creations, like what was shared in the video, using this new product line.  I am going to play this weekend, creating some pages using Artbooking and various lines of Pictures My Life!  As Monica states on the video, you gotta love coordinating products that work so well together!  It is also refreshing to preserve memories with ease using this different style of scrapbooking, providing an alternative to your projects!

Learn how to make a sparkly bouquet of balloons by combining embellishments, Cricut^® cutouts, and specialty paper. You will get carried away by these glitzy decorations.

Isn't this technique too fun?!  I can't wait to give it a try on a card, layout, or other papercrafting project.  Always love a technique incorporating bling!

DIY: Easy 3-D Effects

Have you ever wanted to turn a flat Cricut shape into a 3-D element but did not know how?  Would you have guessed it was difficult?  I would have but it is not!

Watch this video to learn how to made an adorable banner of your choice - she teaches how to make a CUTE Valentine banner, perfect for this time of the year.  You can use these dimensional pieces for your scrapbook pages or any other decor item.

Have fun giving this technique a try!  It's as easy as 1-2-3-D!

Washi Wonderland (Video)

So I must admit...  I was one of those people, when Washi Tape was first released through Close To My Heart, who thought, "What is the big deal about Washi Tape?"  I truly did not get it.  I have since seen some beautiful artwork using it and love the techniques showcased in this short video.

So...grab your favorite snack, entire "Washi Wonderland" and be inspired!  I will catch you after the credits.  :)

I have just placed an order to include some of the washi tapes I do not already have and will be creating a piece of artwork with it later this month.  (I will be stretching outside of my comfort zone a bit but am looking forward to it after this inspiration.)  I would love to know what you have used Washi Tape to decorate.  (I even saw some photos showing how people have used it in their planners just to cutesy up their entries. I just may have to try that.)

20 days and counting...well kind of... (I am not trying to rush it.)

Ombré Technique

So...if you are like me and have no idea what an Ombre' Technique is, that is one reason to watch this video!  I have seen the technique and this design throughout our world but had no idea it had a special name.  I would have just called it "blended letters".  LOL  But...it is TOO COOL and so easy to do.  

Grab some popcorn, maybe a notepad, and then have some fun trying out this fun technique!  One day this coming week I will incorporate the technique into one of my creations and share my artwork.
