Michael March brings something rare to the screen: four decades of genuine authority. He doesn’t just play powerful men; he has been one.

His career began in the mid-1980s at a leading New York law firm and went on to senior legal, management and C-suite roles with major multinational media companies across Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo and, ultimately, Bangkok. In 2020, a beach walk during the Covid lockdown turned into the start of what he calls his third act: acting.

That history is exactly what he brings onto a set. Years of high-pressure professional life have given him an instinctive command of authority, restraint and subtext, and the weight of experience in his work is present rather than performed.

His screen credits include GDH’s romantic comedy Fast & Feel Love, directed by Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit, the international thriller Operation Blood Hunt, and Gladiator Underground. On television he played the president of a global health organization in Netflix Thailand’s Tomorrow and I. He has led several short films now entering the international festival circuit, and on stage he has taken on Mamet’s American Buffalo as well as contemporary drama and dark comedy with Bangkok’s English-language companies.

A native English speaker with conversational Mandarin and Japanese, Michael is a natural fit for international co-productions and Asian-language content that needs a credible Western presence. He arrives on set disciplined, collaborative and prepared.
