Additionally, information about the processor for this smartphone has surfaced again, along with details about the possible chipset for the 11th Generation iPad. The forthcoming iPad models are expected to feature enhancements over the current iPad Air and Pro variants.
The rumored iPhone SE 4 is believed to be equipped with an in-house A18 Bionic chipset, supporting up to 8GB of RAM, and is expected to include Face ID and Apple Intelligence capabilities. A recent report from MacRumors, referencing a private X account, indicated that the anticipated device will likely utilize a processor identified as T8140.
This identifier is associated with both the A18 and A18 Pro chipsets; however, given that the iPhone SE 4 is positioned as a more budget-friendly option, it is probable that it will be equipped with the less expensive A18 chip.
The report does not disclose the source of the leak but notes that the source has a reliable history of providing iOS-related information, albeit with occasional inaccuracies.
In a separate report, MacRumors, citing the same anonymous source, stated that the rumored iPad 11 is expected to feature a processor identified as T8120, which aligns with the A16 chipset. This system-on-chip (SoC) is utilized in older iPhone models, including the iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 15, and iPhone 15 Plus.
Previously, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg suggested that the 11th Generation iPad would come equipped with Apple Intelligence features. He indicated that the anticipated iPad 11 models might incorporate A17 Pro SoCs from the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. However, the rumored A16 chipset does not support the AI suite available on Apple's current iPhone models.
