Mark Lyttleton is a professional angel investor, business mentor and speaker who provides both pro-bono and paid services to companies operating across a broad range of different industries. As well as providing sound strategic and financial mentoring, Mr Lyttleton also provides entrepreneurs with personal advice to help them manage the pressures of running and growing a business.

Having graduated from the University of York with honours, Mark Lyttleton started his career at Mercury Asset Management in 1992 as a fund manager. From 1997 to 2007 he served as a fund manager and director for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (later part of the Blackrock group), managing Institutional Pension funds on the UK Specialist Team.
Mr Lyttleton subsequently moved to the Equity Retail Team and is credited with growing the assets from $250 million to over $7 billion, gaining recognition as the top performing UK fund manager in 2005 across the industry.
Mark Lyttleton also served as a fund manager and managing director for Blackrock, where he ran the retail sector’s first long-short equity fund, UK Absolute Alpha, successfully growing it from launch to more than $4 billion of assets at its peak.

In addition to his role as an angel investor with stakes in over 40 businesses, Mark Lyttleton has spoken at financial institutions, imparting the importance of Compliance and Regulation to staff.
Mark Lyttleton is also a certified Pranic Healer.
Outside of work, Mr Lyttleton has a variety of interests and a keen philanthropist. He is currently in the process of starting his own UK-based charity.
