Water resilience is no longer a distant ambition — it is a defining priority on today's global agenda, demanding collective action, technological excellence, and a renewed approach to how we produce, manage, and value water. At #EuroMed2026, OCP Green Water contributed to key discussions shaping the future of sustainable water management, bringing an industrial and integrated perspective to the global dialogue on desalination and non-conventional water resources. During the session "Desalination and the Water-Energy-Food Nexus : Pathways for Sustainable Agriculture", participants explored the deep interconnections between water, energy and food security — and the role desalination can play in building more resilient, sustainable agricultural models. OCP Green Water also joined the panel "Advancing Sustainable Desalination in Morocco : Innovation, Energy Efficiency, and Integrated Water Management", co-organised with EDS, IWRI–UM6P, and ONEE, sharing insights into Morocco's desalination and water reuse landscape and contributing to broader exchanges on energy efficiency, innovative technologies, brine management, and integrated water resource management. These discussions reflect a shared conviction : tackling water scarcity takes more than expanding production capacity. It requires integrated solutions, stronger synergies between industry, research and public stakeholders, and an unwavering commitment to innovation. At OCP Green Water, we are proud to be part of this collective momentum — and of the conversations shaping a more resilient, sustainable water future. #OCPGreenWater #EuroMed2026 #Desalination #WaterReuse #WaterResilience #Innovation #SustainableWater #WaterEnergyFoodNexus

J2K Pipeline: A new water link for Khouribga Delivered by OCP Green Water in just 24 months, the J2K Pipeline connects the Jorf Lasfar industrial platform to Khouribga, transporting up to 80 million m³ of desalinated water per year. Designed with the support of JESA S.A and international engineering expertise, and executed by a consortium of Moroccan companies, this infrastructure marks a first in Morocco for the long-distance transfer of desalinated water. Beyond engineering, its impact is also local: around one million man-days mobilized during construction, 85% local workforce, and 100 permanent jobs created during operation. A strategic infrastructure serving water security, regional development, and long-term resilience.

Water is the lifeblood of both industry and communities. At OCP Group, we are delivering a decisive shift toward water sovereignty. Since 2025, all our industrial operations have run on 100% non-conventional water. By 2027, our Green Water ambition will reach full scale: ✅ 560 million m³ of annual desalination capacity powered by 100% renewable energy ✅ Regional prosperity: supplying drinking water to more regions to alleviate regional water stress ✅ Industrial autonomy: ensuring fertilizer production does not compete for freshwater resources By turning industrial scale into a driver of environmental and social resilience, we are helping secure a future where water is green, circular, and secure. Water scarcity is no longer a distant risk. It is a present reality — and addressing it requires more than technology. It requires ecosystems. OCP Green Water was honored to participate as a partner and panelist at #IWRIWaterDay2026, organized by the International IWRI- International Water Research Institute at UM6P — a full day dedicated to science, innovation, and collective action around one of the most critical challenges of our time. Three high-level panels shaped the conversation: Panel 1 — Adapting Water Systems: Non-Conventional Resources in the Era of Floods and Droughts Desalination, climate resilience, sustainable infrastructure — a timely reminder that non-conventional water resources are no longer an option, but a strategic imperative for water-stressed regions across Africa and beyond. Panel 2 — Innovating Water Systems: Technologies Shaping the Future of Water Security From AI-powered water management to startup ecosystems and digital monitoring, this session underscored that the next frontier of water security will be built on data, entrepreneurship, and cross-sector collaboration. Panel 3 — Advancing Water Solutions through Academia–Industry–Policy Collaboration Perhaps the most resonant for us: the urgency of breaking silos. Translating research into deployable solutions at scale demands sustained partnerships — not occasional dialogue. At OCP Green Water, these are not abstract themes. They define our day-to-day work — from deploying desalination units, to co-developing new technologies with UM6P and InnovX, to structuring a local industrial ecosystem capable of capturing value across the entire desalination chain. #WaterSecurity #Desalination #NonConventionalWater #OCPGreenWater #IWRI #UM6P #WaterInnovation #ClimateResilience #Morocco #Africa

This week, OCP Green Water participated in the 9th edition of #SITeau — the International Exhibition for Water, Sanitation and Energy Technologies — held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, at the Mohammed VI Museum for Water Civilization in Marrakech. OCP Green Water contributed to the discussions on innovative governance and financing models for the Water–Energy–Agriculture–Health Nexus, alongside leading public institutions, operators, financial actors and experts. At OCP Green Water, we firmly believe that water security, industrial resilience and sustainable development must be addressed through integrated and long-term approaches. Our model is built around a clear ambition: developing large-scale non-conventional water solutions powered by renewable energy, while creating sustainable value for industry, territories and communities. Through desalination, wastewater reuse and dedicated infrastructure, we are contributing to strengthening Morocco’s water resilience and supporting a more sustainable and sovereign water future. We extend our sincere thanks to #SITeau for fostering this important platform for dialogue and collaboration, and to all stakeholders committed to advancing innovative and sustainable water solutions for Morocco and beyond. #SITeau2026 #OCPGreenWater #WaterSecurity #SustainableDevelopment #Desalination #WaterResilience #Morocco #Nexus

Preserving our planet begins with how we manage its most vital resources. In a context of increasing pressure on ecosystems, rethinking our relationship with natural resources has become a strategic lever to safeguard natural balances while enabling sustainable territorial development. At OCP Green Water, this conviction is translated into a profound transformation of our water model: mobilizing non-conventional water resources — desalination and wastewater reuse — to sustainably reduce reliance on natural freshwater reserves. Today, by operating entirely on alternative water sources for OCP Group industrial needs, we actively contribute to: • Preserving conventional water resources; • Protecting ecosystem balance ; • Reallocating water to essential territorial uses. Caring for the Earth means acting today on what sustains it. #EarthDay #Sustainability #WaterSecurity #Desalination #WaterReuse #ClimateAction #OCPGreenWater
