Perspectives Digital proudly welcomes Swiss melodic techno artist Patrick Ruprecht for its 126th release.  Spanning three cinematic and emotionally rich productions, Mournful Cadence captures the depth, atmosphere, and storytelling that have steadily positioned Patrick among the new generation of forward-thinking melodic artists emerging from Europe’s underground scene.

The title track sees Patrick joining forces with Budapest-based producer TOBAK, a rapidly rising name whose distinctive fusion of Melodic House, Afro House, and Indie Dance has earned support from internationally respected artists including Adriatique, Øostil, Henri Bergmann, and Brina Knauss.  Founder of the Artessa Music imprint and a regular presence on labels such as MoBlack, NOW Recordings, Automatik, and Beatfreak, TOBAK has developed a reputation for immersive productions that balance cinematic atmosphere with peak-time energy.  Together, the duo transform “Mournful Cadence” into a powerful late-night journey driven by haunting melodies, hypnotic tension, and sophisticated rhythmic detail, striking a seamless balance between emotional depth and dancefloor functionality.

Born in Zürich, Patrick Ruprecht has steadily built a reputation for his introspective and emotionally nuanced approach to melodic electronic music.  Drawing inspiration from solitude, nature, and timeless composition rather than fleeting trends, his productions emphasize atmosphere, restraint, and lasting emotional impact.  Recent releases on respected imprints including Einmusika, 3000 Grad, Theory X, and his own Letter Recordings further showcase his ability to merge cinematic storytelling with refined club sensibilities.

The EP continues with “Call The Crowd,” a driving and hypnotic solo production built around dark grooves, evolving textures, and expansive melodic progression, before closing with “No Signal,” a brooding and tension-filled composition layered with introspection, atmosphere, and late-night energy.
