Coming out of my Soundcloud hibernation with a new track! :)

Sometimes I become too obsessed with OPN's music and to me his music is always about the most obscure and inspirational usage of vocal synthesizer sounds. This is one of my countless attempts to have fun with those and create my own silly universe of sounds :)

Been buried on my demos shelf for a few years now and I just thought it would be nice to send it out in the world wide web on a random Sunday. 
To me this is kind of a spiritual successor to https://soundcloud.com/andyfink/lonesome, thus the name. 
Might have been heavily inspired by my nostalgia for early Lone albums, would have to ask a younger version of myself to confirm.

This track was done as part of home assignment from Oneohtrix Point Never songwriting workshop at School of Song
Lot's of experimenting with sampling and freestyling around the general track direction, ended up being somewhere between Stereolab and Boards of Canada influences according to some of the feedback I got :) 

A Fool's Walk

My submission for second week of School of Song workshop with Oneohtrix Point Never
Main challenges I wanted to tackle were trying to ignore the grid as much as I could and composing the track in concept of sonically distinct audio rooms connected in one piece, all while trying to use as little audio tracks as possible. This is my take on it :) 

Rooms Of Disarray

My final homework submission for School of Song workshop with Arca. 
This one came back to back after Oneohtrix Point Never workshop I did the month before and it felt like all the learnings blended perfectly together in the shape and form of this track, as I used a lot of techniques I took from Daniel's class while working within new homework prompts. Managed to deliver the kind of elusive sound palette I've been chasing for a very long time and it finally found me.
Very happy with the final result, I might be extending it in the future but for now I simply wanted to share this moment in time :)
