FastGPT

FastGPT is an AI agent builder for teams creating document-based assistants and business workflows. It suits internal knowledge search, customer support and applications that combine answers with actions.

• Visual workflows: Connect model calls, agent skills, plugins and user interactions, including basic robotic process automation actions.
• Document knowledge bases: Import PDFs, Office files, Markdown and web pages, then combine collections with hybrid search and reranking to retrieve relevant passages.
• Answer review: Inspect citations, edit or delete stored text segments, test retrieval and evaluate applications using call-chain logs and conversation annotations.
• Tools and sharing: Connect external systems through bidirectional MCP and APIs, then share assistants through chat windows that don't require login or embed them in a website.

The community edition runs on your own server through Docker. FastGPT also offers a hosted service and commercial software. The platform supports different model integrations; self-hosting the application doesn't establish where a chosen model processes requests.

The custom FastGPT Open Source License permits commercial backend use but prohibits offering the software as a SaaS service. Commercial services must retain copyright information unless separately authorized.
