Sending Love your Way

Hi there,

I created this sweet card for Mennys Bastelshop using the Lawn Fawn Valentine Mice:

  • cut out one of the ModaScrap Stamps from smooth white cardstock
  • add color to the background with the help of Distress Oxide Inks (Saltwater Taffy, Abandoned Coral)
  • cut out the Lawn Fawn Scripty Hugs, add that same pink color and heat-emboss it with clear glitter embossing powder
  • stamp two of the Lawn Fawn Valentine Mice with Lawn Fawn River Rock
  • color the images with Ohuhu Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos and highlights with a white gel pen
  • cover a cardbase with patterned paper and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Peacock Feathers

Happy Easter Bee

Hi there,

Emily and I created these sweet Easter Cards using the adorable bee from the Impronte d'Autore Sweet Bee stamp set:

  • stamp one of the adorable bees from the Impronte d'Autore Sweet Bee set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian and color it with watercolors and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
  • create a background using grass cardstock, Distress Oxide Inks, the ModaScrap Save the Bees die set and the Gummiapan Hallo and Flower Wreath from the Easter Calendar 2025
  • add faux stitching with a yellow gel pen

Celebrate Kitty

Hi there,

I created this Birthday Card for Mennys Bastelshop using the Sunny Studio Stamps Party Pets stamp set:

  • cut out a panel from smooth white cardstock using one of the ModaScrap Framed Rectangles
  • stamp the adorable little cat from the Sunny Studio Stamps Party Pets set with Gina K. Designs Obsidian
  • color the image with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers, add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils and highlights with a white gel pen
  • add confetti with Distress Oxide Inks
  • cover the cardbase with patterned paper
  • cut out the Celebrate from the CUTplorations Skinny Sentiments from vellum and patterned paper
  • add Nuvo Jewel Drops to the cherries on the cake and some Pinkfresh Studio Glitter Drops as final embellishments

Bunny Tags

Hi there,

my daughter Emmi and I created these adorable Bunny Tags for Mennys Bastelshop using both the Lawn Fawn Build-a-Bunny and the Lawn Fawn Build-a-Bunny Accessories die set:

  • cut out the bunnies and their clothes from colored cardstock and patterned paper
  • add shading with Distress Ink and highlights and texture with a white gel pen and fineliners
  • cut out two ModaScrap Unconventional Tags from kraft cardstock and run them through your die cutting machine in the Spellbinders Cross my Heart embossing folder
  • thread twine through the holes of the tags

Hoppy Birthday

Hi there,

I used the Anjas Basteltraum Froschzauber stamp set to create this adorable little scene:

  • stamp one of the frogs, the dragonfly, the water lily, two lily pads and some water droplets from the Anjas Basteltraum Froschzauber set  - use the masking technique
  • color the images with Spectrum Noir Triblend Markers and add extra shading with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
  • cut out the Moda Scrap Waving Elements from light blue cardstock and ink up its edges with Distress Ink Prize Ribbon
  • layer the light blue background on a dark blue cardbase
  • stamp the sentiment from the Lawn Fawn Toadally Awesome set with Versamark onto a strip of dark blue cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder

Say it with Flowers

Hi there,

I created this rainbow watercolor flower card using the new Anjas Basteltraum Blumengrüße stamp set:

  • cut out one of the ModaScrap Bubble Circles from watercolor paper
  • stamp one of the images from the Anjas Basteltraum Blumengrüße set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • add a rainbow of watercolors and black and white splatters
  • stamp the sentiment from the Anjas Basteltraum Kleine Sprüche Blumengruß with Versamark onto a fishtail banner cut from Neenah Desert Storm kraft cardstock and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • cover a cardbase with patterned paper and ink up the edges with Distress Ink Frayed Burlap
  • add some sequins and Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard as final embellishments

Happy Birthday Cat

Hi there,

I would like to show you this fun Birthday Card:

  • stamp the cat from the Taylored Expressions If Cats could talk set with My Favorite Things Extreme Black and color the image with Delta, Touch Twin Brush and Copic Markers
  • partially die cut the cat with the matching die
  • cut with one of the ModaScrap Dashing Rectangles around the image and cut it once again but this time from patterned paper from the Create a Smile Feel Good 6x6 paper pad
  • stamp the sentiment from the Clearly Besotted Stamps Tiny Type set with Distress Oxide Ink Broken China
  • add some paws from the Mama Elephant Purrfect Pair set with Hero Arts Shadow Ink Soft Granite
  • adhere all the layers to a teal cardbase

Christmas in July

Hi there,

we would like to show you some Christmas in July projects over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog:

  • stamp one of the adorable little Elizabeth Craft Designs Elves and partially die cut it with its matching die
  • color the image with Derwent Inktense pencils and a damp watercolor brush
  • cut out an Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangle from patterned paper from the ModaScrap Unconventional Christmas 6x6 paper pad
  • stamp the sentiment from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Classic Christmas Sentiments with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Super Fine embossing powder
  • adhere the panel onto some woodgrain paper before adding it to an off-white cardbase

Mr and Mrs

Hi there,

today we are showing you all kinds of Wedding Projects on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog and this is my creation:

  • cut out a stitched panel from watercolor paper using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles 
  • stamp the flower circle and the sentiment from the ModaScrap Wedding Stamps set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Metallic Platinum embossing powder
  • color the background with Schmincke Horadam watercolor and add pink and Perfect Pearls splatters
  • add a strip of dark green cardstock and of pink glitter paper to the left side of the panel before adhering it to a white cardbase

I created this vibrant watercolor project for Elizabeth Craft Designs:

  • cut out a stitched panel from watercolor paper using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles
  • stamp the ice cream and the adorable little sun from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Sun & Surf set and the sentiment from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Beach Sentiments set with Versamark and heat-emboss it with WOW! Bright White Super Fine embossing powder
  • color the background with Schmincke Horadam watercolors
  • color the images with Prismacolor Colored Pencils
  • add some patterned paper from the ModaScrap Color of Puppies Boy 6x6 paper pad behind the panel before adhering it to the cardbase

Happiness

Hi there,

today, we are featuring all kinds of flower die projects over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog and this is my creation:

  • cut out two Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles
  • use one as a background panel and cut clouds using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Adventure Edges dies and a hedge using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Adventure Edges 2 dies
  • add color with Distress Oxide Inks (Stormy Sky, Mowed Lawn, Forest Foss)
  • cut out a fence from patterned paper from the ModaScrap Wood Effect 6x6 paper pad
  • color a piece of Elizabeth Craft Designs white Soft Finish Cardstock with Alcohol Markers and cut out some of those adorable tiny flowers from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Adventure Edges 2 die set
  • add a dot of Nuvo Crystal Drops Buttermilk tot he center of the flowers
  • stamp the sentiment from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Dream Sentiments with Versafine Onyx Black

Valentine's Day Mouse

Hi there,

today, we are showing you several wonderful Valentine's Day Projects over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog and this is my creation:

  • cut out the Elizabeth Craft Designs Gable Box from pink cardstock
  • stamp the flowers from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Patterns 1 set with Versamark all around the box and heat-emboss them with WOW! Metallic Silver embossing powder
  • stamp the adorable little mouse and some hearts from the ModaScrap Puppies Girl set with Versafine Onyx Black onto white Elizabeth Craft Designs soft finish cardstock, cut them out with the matching dies and color the images with Spectrum Noir Pencils
  • add a grass border cut with the help of one of the dies from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Adventure Edges set from light green cardstock underneath the mouse

Merry Christmas Surprise Slider Card

Hi there,

inspired by Jennifer McGuire I created this Surprise Christmas Slider card for Elizabeth Craft Designs:

  • cut out the Elizabeth Craft Designs Elegant Christmas Tree from patterned paper from the ModaScrap Christmas Holidays 6x6 paper pad
  • cut the outline of the tree from a piece of Elizabeth Craft Designs white Soft Finish Cardstock covered with Elizabeth Craft Designs clear double-sided adhesive
  • add Silk Microfine Glitter Ice Teal to the shape and glue the tree cut from patterned paper on top
  • cut out the Elizabeth Craft Designs Merry Christmas Small from silver foiled cardstock
  • create a background on a white panel using stamps from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Poinsettia set and Versafine Clair Morning Mist
  • cut out one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Dotted Scallop Circles from that same patterned paper and stamp the sentiment from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Classic Christmas Sentiments with Versafine Clair Morning Mist
  • assemble the surprise slider as shown in Jennifer's video
  • stamp the "Pull Here" from the Lawn Fawn Push here set with that same grey ink

Merry & Bright

Hi there,

we are starting a new Challenge over on the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog and this month it is all about the Frame it dies. I used the Frame it - Stitched Rectangles to create more dimension on my card project:

  • stamp two scenes from the adorable Elizabeth Craft Designs Christmas Kids set with Versafine Onyx Black and cut them out with the coordinating dies
  • color the images with Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils
  • cut out several frames using the Elizabeth Craft Designs Frame it - Stitched Rectangles and the Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles
  • adhere the frames on top of each other using double-sided foam adhesive
  • create a shaker element behind the last frame and fill it with sequins 
  • close the shaker element with patterned paper from the ModaScrap Christmas Holidays 6x6 paper pad
  • stamp the sentiment from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Classic Christmas Sentiments with Versafine Olympia Green onto a sentiment strip cut into a banner shape
  • adhere the frames onto a cardbase and the images onto the frames
  • embellish the tree with Nuvo Crystal Drops (Red Berry, Apple Green, Dandelion Yellow)


Our challenge question is: Which of the Garden Notes - Frame It/Stitched Die Sets would you use on a project and how would you use it?

Hi there,

I created this faux-watercolor Christmas Card for Elizabeth Craft Designs:

  • cut out a stitched panel from watercolor paper using one of the Elizabeth Craft Designs Stitched Rectangles
  • stamp a sentiment from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Classic Christmas Sentiments with Versamark and heat-emboss it with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder
  • stamp the pine twig from the Elizabeth Craft Designs Poinsettia set with Distress Ink (Pine Needles, Frayed Burlap) and mist the stamp with water after inking it
  • ink up the edges of the panel with Distress Ink Frayed Burlap and add some splatters with watered-down Distress Ink Pine Needles
  • add a strip of patterned paper from the ModaScrap Christmas Holidays 6x6 paper pad to the top and the bottom of the panel before adhering it to a cardbase
