Marvellous week at Villa California! Good shower, great beds, pool and outside area were lovely. Large open plan living space, with fireplace, was perfect in the
evenings. The photos on the website are a true representation of what you can expect to find at Villa California. Veronica and her team were very attentive and on hand if needed, particularly with recommendations for restaurants. The local area of Lajares had plenty to offer on your doorstep, supermarkets, bakery’s, pharmacies and restaurants. This area and villa is the best kept secret on the island.

I absolutely love this place because these villas truly feel like home! The philosophy of homefullness is present in every detail.

I love how peaceful it is here—mornings start with birds singing, and each villa has its own magic. From Villa Santorini, you can watch the sunrise, while Villa California is the perfect spot for sunset lovers! Yet, everything you need is close by—supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, and designer boutiques are all within walking distance. Other places are also easy to reach: Lajares is just 20 minutes from Corralejo and 10 minutes from El Cotillo.

Even though Fuerteventura is warm, I highly recommend enjoying the fireplace in the evening—the crackling logs and the scent of burning wood instantly bring back childhood memories. Just a note: both the fireplace and pool heating need to be requested in advance ✅.

I’m someone who is very sensitive to scents, and that’s another reason I love these villas. Each one is stocked with Rituals products and beautiful aroma sets—palo santo, candles, and incense sticks that create a truly relaxing atmosphere.

The kitchens are fully equipped, making it easy to cook at home, plus there’s a barbecue if you prefer grilling. But be warned—it’s so beautiful here that you might only leave for groceries and spend your entire vacation at the villa! And honestly, you won’t regret it. 😌

Excellent location within walking distance to everything you need in Lajares.
The villa is tastefully decorated , feels spacious and gets enough sun throughout the day, pool is a good length and the set up is certainly inspiring to spend more time at home despite having so many fabulous beaches in close proximity. Filippo was very helpful with recommendations and ensured we had a hassle free check in/ check out without intruding.

Miejsce, w którym spędziliśmy dwie noce, przerosło nasze oczekiwania! Wnętrze jest urządzone z wyjątkowym smakiem – eleganckie, a jednocześnie bardzo przytulne. Każdy detal zdaje się być starannie przemyślany, co tworzy niesamowity klimat. Lokalizacja jest idealna dla osób szukających ciszy i spokoju – w otoczeniu przyrody, z dala od miejskiego zgiełku.

Szczególnie zauroczył nas ogród – przepiękny, zadbany, pełen urokliwych zakątków do odpoczynku z książką lub filiżanką kawy. Łóżko w pokoju było niesamowicie wygodne – dawno nie spaliśmy tak dobrze!

Jedynym małym minusem była chłodna woda w basenie, ale absolutnie nie wpłynęło to na nasz pobyt.

Zdecydowanie polecamy to miejsce każdemu, kto marzy o wypoczynku w pięknym otoczeniu. My na pewno jeszcze tu wrócimy! 😊
