Let's TACO 'Bout Business- Event Registration
SCHOOL’S OUT (on Thursday, 10/2)! Bring your elementary schooler to this FREE event! Learn the basics of business & financial literacy, then put them to the test—by running a bake sale stand outside of the library for charity! We look forward to seeing you there! **This is a drop-off activity!** Thursday, October 2nd, 1:30-4pm | Miller Branch Library, Avalon Room (9421 Frederick Rd, Ellicott City, MD 21042) What's in the class? 30 minute class lesson: basics of entrepreneurship & financial literacy made easy for kids! 2-Hour Bakesale Fundraiser Stand Experience (FREE!): sell cookies, brownies, and Rice Krispies outside of Miller Library (under supervision) to gain hands-on experience of running a business! Give Back to the Community: Taco stand proceeds are then donated to Special Olympics Howard County! Please reach out to startherupprogram@gmail.com with any questions!
