Bringing together passionate young voices from across the National Capital Region to create powerful choral experiences. | Founded in 1982, the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir (ORYC) is the premier SATB ensemble for young vocalists aged 15–25 in the National Capital Region. As a registered charity and community-driven organization, ORYC is dedicated to developing the musical, artistic, and personal potential of young singers through high-quality choral training, public performance, and collaboration with Ottawa’s vibrant arts scene. ORYC’s vision is to play a significant role in the musical life of the city, and to be recognized nationally as a notable space for youth whose passion for choral music leads them to seek opportunities to expand their experience and expertise.
