Mofi Solarin

Hey! I’m Mofi Solarin, a junior at the University of Maryland and Contestant 3 in the Miss Unity Pageant 2025 👑. I’m passionate about public health, storytelling, and creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued. My platform, Strength in Every Scar, was born from my own experience living with an autoimmune disorder and learning to see healing as something beautiful, not shameful. To me, every scar either physical or emotional, represents survival, growth, and the power of resilience. Through this pageant, I’m using my voice to raise awareness for trauma, mental health, and chronic illness while showing that our stories, no matter how imperfect, deserve to shine. When I’m not prepping for pageant day, you can usually find me studying, advocating for health equity in black and brown communities through my work as a clinical research coordinator or as vice-president of AMWA, co-directing the SGA DEI committee, tutoring or finding small ways to help others heal out loud💋
