Met Derek to have physio done after Spinal fusion surgery.Needless to say he had his work cut out for him.He provided a very professional service,emailed exercises for me to do at home,which were so helpful.
I cannot thank him enough,I still have some work to do,but with Derek's help I am truly on my way to getting back to some level of fitness.

I had a frozen shoulder & was in extreme discomfort, after the first couple of sessions the pain was  gone &  then Derek worked on helping me regain full movement of my arm .
He fully explains the plan of treatment along side with tutorials to continue at home .

I developed a very painful knee joint, very difficult to walk.
Had X-ray and seems due to age there are bones touching each other and start of osteoarthritis.
Doctor’s recommendation? Take painkillers!!!
Went to Derek and spent 5 sessions with him.
I can walk at least 4 km now without a lot of pain.
Good investment – recommended 😊

suffered a complex ankle sprain and in the immediate aftermath  had many confusing nurse/gp/a&e advice and paid for unproductive physio elsewhere, had inconclusive imaging and felt there was lack of interest from anyone but plenty around to take your money. Finally found the service needed with Derek at midlands physio. Derek takes a genuine interest and works consistently to get you back on track. was a game changer from day one. Also just seems to be very good at what he does, listens well, results driven and is not daunted by complexities along the way. highly recommend

Derek is patient and thorough. He takes the time to find the cause of your pain. He sends you several exercises by email so you can practice them properly and have them for future reference if the pain comes back. Best physio in the Midlands.
