Final Day of Recording
On the final day of recording, we had 3 songs worth of vocals and a guitar part to record before our lovely producer Camburger moved to Adelaide. So Ryan rocks up with 8 hours in the bag, busts out stubborn in two. Sweet. Onto What I'd Do. Well, Ryan didn't quite have all the words written for that one, but it's ok, they hustled it together, all done. Stop for lunch and cook some snags. 3 hours left. Onto San Diego, choruses are done, but would you believe it, Ryan's only got 1 verse written! So out onto the couch they go, throwing the ball in the air writing words about hot sisters and missing teeth, when Greg finally turns up to do his guitar part. This is a problem. "Greg's Nectarine Fuzz part took 5 hours, we could be in trouble" Ryan thinks as he sweats on his lyrics on the couch. 45 minutes later Greg walks out, having hit a miracle run, and in the remaining 30 Ryan finishes San Diego, just sliding through, practically shaking with anxiety by the time they walked out.
