Government stats refute hunting organization’s claim re: public complaints related to grizzly bears
The BC Wildlife Federation would have us believe that public complaints regarding grizzly bears have reached “nearly 1,000 a year” — a rise so dramatic it warrants a return to grizzly hunting.

Protecting Alberta's Grizzly Bears - EXPOSED Wildlife Conservancy
Centuries of habitat loss and persecution by European settlers led to the dramatic decline in the size and distribution of grizzly bear populations across North America. Grizzly bears once roamed widely across Alberta and eastward through the plains of Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Today, grizzly bears have primarily been extirpated from the prairies, and in Alberta are found solely in the Rocky Mountain and Foothills regions at the province’s western fringe.

Trapped in the Past Videos & Campaign
Trapped in the Past Videos & Campaign
The Trapped In the Past Campaign exists to raise awareness of the trapping industry as a whole, and to completely ban snares for both commercial and recreational trapping. This campaign is especially focused on significantly improving rules and regulations for trapping large predators like wolves, coyotes, lynx, bobcats, and wolverines. The ultimate goal is to make trapping more humane and in line with modern animal welfare and environmental standards.
