My name is Jay and I am a musician from Calgary, Canada. I write alternative pop. This channel is a music channel but I also like to write small scenes, which you can find here too. Because I think “to impress industry professionals you gotta stick to your brand - don’t post comedy, don’t post art if you’re a musician on the internet, Keep it separate” - is really bad advice. I’m not trying to make them like me, or even to make you like me or what I do. Plus, it’s probably easier for both of us in the long run - I don’t have to ask you to go to three different links (except maybe I’ll say; follow me on Instagram!) You can be lazy with this. I can be lazy with this. If you really wanna know what my aspirations are, just ask me. Although the answer of “to be the best version of myself and the most of myself I can be” might not impress you, either.
