First Kids (K-5th grade): Have you ever wondered how to talk about baptism as a family? Join us for our NextGen Baptism Class on Mar. 29 from 1-2PM in First Kids. This class is designed to help families understand what baptism means and what a baptism at First Church looks like. We’ll create space for questions, conversation, and clarity as families begin this important step together. First Students (Jr. High & Sr. High): At First Church, we believe the primary discipleship of a student happens within the family. Our Student Ministry team will personally walk with families who are considering baptism. Once a student signs up, we’ll connect individually and guide families through “My Faith Journey,” a workbook designed to help students reflect on their faith and spark meaningful conversations at home. Our goal is to come alongside families and support them through this process at their own pace.

The BEST WEEK OF SUMMER is June 1-4! KidFest is First Church's onsite, evening summer camp for kids going into kindergarten through 5th grade in the fall. During four, fun-filled nights, kids will experience awesome games, creative Bible teaching, high-energy worship, snacks, and tons of fun with their friends and leaders. Kids compete with their color team to become the KidFest champions! This experience spans our campus inside and outside (weather permitting) and it's one kids don't want to miss. Invite your friends! KidFest check-in starts at 5:45 with programming lasting from 6 to 8PM each night. ***Online registration ends at midnight on May 31. Walk-up registrations will be taken on June 1 starting at 5:30PM.***

At Camp CYOKAMO, your child gets a chance to experience God in an incredible way. Whether in chapel, morning devos, or at campfire, they will be challenged to grow in their walk with Jesus. Additionally, there are tons of activities for them to participate in including swimming, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and an inflatable water slide! Camp CYOKAMO is sure to be a memorable part of your child's summer! This year's camp for 4th & 5th grade students is June 21-24. Kids who will be in 4th & 5th grades in the fall are eligible to attend. CYOKAMO is located just north of Joplin, MO and First Church provides transportation to and from the camp.
