A retired U.S. Air Force SNCO with 26 years of service, she brings unmatched experience in leadership, spiritual care, and dignity. Today, Esmeralda serves at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine as the Program Director where she champions belonging, wellâbeing, and equity. She is also the CoâFounder of Latinas Rising LLC, home of two #1 international bestselling anthologies uplifting womenâs voices nationwide. From migrant farmworker to decorated military leader, author, scholar, speaker, and entrepreneur, Esmeraldaâs journey reflects courage, faith, and rising after hardship. She mentors women, serves in several boards, educates, and leads and is currently pursuing a doctorate in higher education. Esmeralda leads with heart, healing, and hope empowering others to rise, one story and one courageous step at a time.
