ABOUT ME

With over 15 years of experience teaching DT in London schools, specialising in textiles, I have developed a deep appreciation for the power of creativity in education. While I continue to value my time in the classroom, my professional journey has naturally evolved toward a more therapeutic approach — one that extends beyond the traditional curriculum while perfectly complementing it. I am passionate about helping children explore their imagination, build confidence, and unlock their creative potential. Through this process, I’ve seen first-hand how therapeutic arts can raise self-esteem, ease anxiety, and foster resilience and self-awareness. Community engagement is also central to my work; as the child of Chilean refugees, I am proud to have contributed to projects such as the 2022 Refugee Week Festival and the Room to Heal charity for asylum seekers. I’m now super excited to be offering creative mentoring sessions that inspire connection, healing, and growth through creativity.
