A really beautiful mosque that was previously a church. Is clean and the brothers managing it are very friendly. I recently attended an Islamic finance lecture there. I'm really happy to see events being held in mosques that make it more than just a place for prayer.
I visited the newly opened mosque on Kent St and was very disappointed with the state of the place. The womenâs musallah had garbage inside, and the space was not clean or welcoming at all. I also saw a post from the mosque asking men to help two sisters move out, but no one responded, which was disheartening. The mosque was cluttered with toys and unsorted donations, making it feel very unorganized and messy. For a place of worship, I expected better upkeep and a more supportive environment for the community. I sincerely hope the management takes these concerns seriously and improves the cleanliness and organization of the mosque. The garbage box need to be addressed as no recycling in the mosque is available.
Nice heritage converted mosque, BUT the place is not all kept. The washrooms and ablutions are very dirty and thereâs no room for foot washing. The entire space is just not clean and messy. Hope they do better in the future.
