Swing City House Band’s Instagram 

The guest band for this edition that will take care of the Saturday night party, side by side with amazing DJs!

Formed in 2022, Swing City House Band emerges as one of the most vibrant swing bands in Latin America. Originating from the heart of Swing City, the renowned swing dance school and jazz club in Argentina, this band embodies the passionate and energetic spirit of the swing community.

Led by Mariel Gastiarena, alongside the finest musicians from the local jazz scene, Swing City House Band delivers a unique show that masterfully integrates the music and dance of the Swing Era!

Recognized on both local and international stages, it has been the main band at two Latin American editions of the International Lindy Hop Championships in Rio de Janeiro and Buenos Aires.

Its repertoire, which includes danceable Jazz, Swing and Rhythm & Blues classics from the 1920s, '30s, and '40s, keeps the vibrant essence of this culture alive!

Mariel began her dance journey at the age of 14, dedicating herself to Lindy Hop, Authentic Jazz, and Tap, alongside other dance styles that have shaped her unique personal style.

A dancer deeply rooted in music: She is also a musician who focused her studies on swing music, studying piano, clarinet, drums, and voice. Her musical background is directly reflected in her rhythmic dancing, making her a highly skilled teacher of musicality applied to Swing dances.

She is the founder and co-director of Swing City, the first school in Argentina dedicated to Lindy Hop, Authentic Jazz, Tap, and a Jazz Club. She teaches regular Swing classes at Swing City and leads workshops in several countries around the world. Today, she is one of the most influential artists in the South American Swing scene!

This master of musicality will lead this edition classes! Count with a Lindy Hop and Solo Jazz class with two different levels for you to explore your dance!
