alpha interzone

Alpha is a musician (piano, keys, bass), composer, sound designer, producer, DJ, webradio man from Hamburg/St. Pauli, Germany, since over 30 years of experience in the Psytrance world. As an organizer he founded a lot of smaller and bigger series through the decades (Amazone, Euphoria, Jalanda, Dark Moons, Devil´s Rejects etc.) and was involved in many events like VooV Experience, Boom Festival, Psycrowdelica, S.U.N. Festival etc. As the founder and moderator of „alpha.s crazy sounds“ webradio show he is supporting since over 25 years all modern psy styles. His favourite BPM range atm is around 200. Still he loves the mix of DarkPsy and Hi-Tech in his sets to bring the heaviness and the deepness of the Darkpsy, combined with faster tempi of Hi-Tech, still trying to be very psychedelic and being as groovy as possible. Any innovation is welcome for him. "Extreme music or fast music is not the problem. BUT, it can become a problem, when every track is sounding similar to the other".
