South African born, California grown Americana music artist, Jesse Ray Smith, has recently ventured to find his footing as a solo artist and develop his sound and style. His influences range from outlaw country legends Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson to soul rock and heartland rock greats like Van Morrison, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Neil Young and Bob Segar.
