Woven Wellness: DIY Chunky Blanket Experience
Woven Wellness: DIY Chunky Blanket Experience
Unwind and recharge with Woven Wellness, a hands-on creative workshop where students will make their own cozy chenille blanket (no knitting experience required). During this one-hour session, participants will start their blanket with guided instruction and receive a follow-up video to finish it at their own pace. All materials are provided. This workshop promotes mindfulness, stress relief, and self-expression through color and design, offering students a meaningful space to relax, connect, and create something comforting they can take with them. RSVP deadline: Monday, April 20 at 5:00 PM.

Pride in Every Step: GAYpril Salsa Class
Step onto the dance floor and celebrate GAYPRIL with a beginner-friendly salsa class designed for fun and freedom. This session will cover foundational steps and simple combinations, followed by open dancing to practice what you’ve learned. All identities and experience levels are welcome. Let’s build community one step at a time. Tuesday, April 21 | 1pm - 3pm | Dance Studio in Haaren Hall Cellar RSVP deadline: Monday, April 20 at 5:00 PM.

Film: Before they tell our stories
"Before They Tell Our Story." Join us for a screening of this short film that archives the stories of queer students and faculty who are out at CUNY campuses. The film also celebrates the intersectionality of their identities. After the film, we will have a talkback with the director/producer about the power of storytelling across race, class, gender, and sexuality.

Join us for a special GAYPRIL outing to the Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center. This RSVP form is for students interested in attending the tour on Thursday, April 9 at 6PM or Saturday, April 11 at 3PM at 51 Christopher Street, Manhattan, NY 10014. Step into the historic site that helped ignite the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement and explore exhibits that honor queer resilience, activism, and community. Gaypril invites us to reflect on our history while continuing to shape our future, and this visit offers a powerful opportunity to do both. Please complete this form to reserve your spot.
