Our Language is a Queer Thing project, pairs three UK poets with three Indian poets in a project that explores the queer experience in two very different countries. Join Amani Saeed (UK), Megha Harish (India), Ifẹ Grillo (UK), Anil Pradhan (India), Sanah Ahsan (UK) and Garfield Dsouza (India) along with project work-shoppers Saradha Soobrayen and Kostya Tsolakis as we launch our colourful pamphlet of new work from the project. Language is a Queer Thing is supported by British Council as part of the India/UK Together Season of Culture and in partnership with The Queer Muslim Project (India), Verve Poetry Festival (UK) and BBC Contains Strong Language.
