Celebra La Vida: Poetry Recitation Competition 📜🎙
Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi presents, Poetry recitation competition under annual Spanish department's academic day "Celebra la Vida" 🇪🇸✨ Date- 16th February 2026 Guidelines: Individual participation only. Participants must recite poems written by famous Hispanic authors only. Self composed poems are not allowed. Participants should introduce the poem by mentioning the poet's name before starting. The poem should be appropriate and suitable for a formal event. Time limit is 2-3 minutes per participant. Exceeding the time limit may lead to point deduction. Use of props, background music or dramatization is not permitted. Judging criteria: Pronunciation Clarity and correctness of words. Facial expressions, emotions and overall presentation. Intonation. Voice modulation, rhythm and flow of the poem. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
