From the Heart: Ceramic Keepsake Boxes | Clayroom SoMa
Join us for this one day Handbuilding Class with Natalie on Saturday February 14th from 2-4pm. Clayroom SoMa, 375 9th Street Get your hands dirty and your heart full! In this Valentine’s-themed ceramics class, students will create their very own heart-shaped ceramic box—perfect for storing treasures, treats, or secret love notes 💌 We’ll explore hand-building techniques using slabs, learn how to create a fitted lid, and add personal details with texture, carving, or playful designs. No experience needed—just bring your creativity and a willingness to get a little clay-zy! By the end of class, you’ll have a one-of-a-kind heart box that’s handmade with love and ready to be fired and finished. Perfect for gifting… or keeping for yourself 😉
