Make BU a sanctuary campus!! - Fall 2025 - Action Network
As the Trump administration has implemented its mass deportation of undocumented immigrants it has also begun to target student and academic activists. ICE has already detained several people with legal visas as well as some with green cards. Right now, there is nothing stopping BUPD from cooperating with ICE as Boston's sanctuary city law does not apply to our campus police. We want that to change! We cannot wait around for ICE to show up, we demand that BU become a sanctuary for the immigrants that are a part of the university's community. It essential that the immigrant community of BU feel safe and welcome.
