Averted's official youtube channel. UK South Coast Metalcore, Averted is a five piece band founded in 2018. The brainchild of founders Jamie and Merlin, the band was conceived as a vessel for delving into the realms of tech-infused and progressive metalcore. The lineup grew with the inclusion of bassist Logan and the powerful presence of frontwoman Syhem in early 2019, while guitarist Alex solidified their arsenal in 2022. In 2020, Averted made their debut with the EP “Silenced,” under the banner of WormHoleDeath Records. The spicy metalcore quintet is returning to self-production in 2023 and once again teamed up with producer Jack Stephens for their newest single “Reflection”.
