While they may handle straightforward cases effectively, I strongly advise caution if your situation has even minor complexities. Below are key issues we encountered firsthand:

1. Non-Attorney Consultations: The initial consultation is conducted by Shawn (or other staff), who is not an attorney but functions as a salesperson. For legal advice from the start, you’re better off paying slightly more at a firm where you meet directly with a lawyer during your first session.

2. Misleading Promises: They emphasize, “We don’t take cases we can’t win,” but this appears disingenuous. My family member paid a retainer fee of over $1,500 only to later discover the firm couldn’t handle the case. Tactics included delaying progress, suddenly withdrawing support, or refusing responsibility for filing the case.

3. Poor Communication: After months of engagement, communication with the assigned attorney or paralegal was nearly nonexistent. Promised callbacks took weeks (if they happened at all), emails went unanswered, and critical details of the case were overlooked entirely.

4. Style Over Substance: While their marketing and initial presentation are polished, their follow-through falls short. They seem suited only for extremely simple cases. If your situation has any complications—no matter how small—I urge you to seek a firm that prioritizes transparency, responsiveness, and diligence.

Final Thoughts: Proceed with caution. Research negative reviews thoroughly before committing, as they reveal consistent red flags. Unfortunately, this firm appears to exploit vulnerable clients, particularly immigrants, by prioritizing profit over genuine legal support. Save your time, money, and peace of mind by choosing a more reputable and communicative team.
