Date: 2025-01-24 04:19 am (UTC)Loved Casablanca and Some Like It Hot and (I think Rear Window). I used to work at a Blockbuster (yes, I'm that old!) And watched so many old movies. Have you ever seen To Have and Have Not? I always rec it whenever someone mentions Casablanca. *sigh* Bogart *sighs again*

Date: 2025-01-24 05:01 am (UTC)Cool! It must've been fun to work at Blockbuster, at least for a while. Yes, To Have and Have Not is one of my favorites -- Bogey and Bacall on fire. Had I been doing a longer rec list I would've likely included it (or if I'd chosen to narrow the countdown to 4 Bogart movies, lol). Casablanca is such a masterpiece though.
