4. We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson

I own a copy of that book and I loved it. :D

And that movie rec list reminds me there's a LOT of classics I need to see, I should make it a point to see at least one of the movies on your list this year.

Gosh, I love Casablanca and Some Like It Hot!

It’s hard to pick a fave Hitchcock movie, but Rear Window would definitely be a contender.

Love these lists! I've read Invisible Man and Great Expectations and loved them (though, I'm reading a re-telling of GE now and I might never be able to see it the same way again!)

Loved Casablanca and Some Like It Hot and (I think Rear Window). I used to work at a Blockbuster (yes, I'm that old!) And watched so many old movies. Have you ever seen To Have and Have Not? I always rec it whenever someone mentions Casablanca. *sigh* Bogart *sighs again*

The book is called Oleander and it's a queer retelling of Great Expectations written by Scarlett Drake. ❤️

Casablanca, Some Like it Hot e The Promise Bride são excelentíssimos filmes (do segundo conheço somente a fama e as fics).
