Adding `debug_panic` library as a dependency

Run this command in a terminal, in your project's directory:

cargo add debug_panic

To add it manually, edit your project's Cargo.toml file and add to the [dependencies] section:

debug_panic = "0.2.1"

The debug_panic library will be automatically available globally. Read the debug_panic library documentation.

debug_panic

This allows a program to terminate immediately and provide feedback to the caller of the program. Unlike panic!, debug_panic! statements are only enabled in non optimized builds by default.

Example usage

// panic
debug_panic!();

// panic with a custom message
debug_panic!("panic");
